“Perfect lodge for a stopover with animals for neighbours”
A perfect stopover on the way from the coast. Ombo is just off the main B1 highway and easy to find so ideal for travellers. Communication was good and we had a warm welcome. We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow, with 4 beds a shower room and lots of outside space. We could park outside the bungalow. Plenty of hot water in the shower and shampoo, shower gel and towels were provided. The room had A/C but we didn't use it. There was also a small fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and sugar in our room, and another in the 2nd bedroom. The bungalow would be perfect for 4 people. There is no kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals, which we didn't. We ate in the lodge. The food is hearty and homecooked to order and service was friendly. We sat outside and watched horses and a family of Waterbuck in the coral next to us. We were also joined by Peaches, the resident cat, and watched the sunset. We enjoyed our stay.

Bungalow ? Just a room with a bed, a fridge and a boiler with a bathroom attached but no table, no chair nothing to sit inside. Swimming pool, a big bath. Restaurant.. I tried the frozen burger cooked with the microwave, really not good. Wifi only at the reception but the reception closed after our check in because no other guest was coming. Even the wifi reception was so bad that it was not usable.
