We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Toscana. Our room was very clean and newly updated with a huge patio looking out at the mountains. There is a back garden as well. The family who owns the hotel is incredibly friendly and treated us with freshly cut flowers from the garden in our room. Breakfast and the packed lunch for our hiking day was delicious. It's a ten minute walk to Potes but delightfully quiet compared to the more touristy side of Potes. There is free parking, a grocery store across the street, and laundry machines next door.

We had a fabulous stay in this small family run hotel. Located about 10-15 minute walk from Potes. We were so impressed with the friendliness of all staff we met. Angel, in particular, was extremely friendly, very attentive and very helpful providing us with travel tips for the area and beyond.

The very helpful and welcoming staff who went above and beyond. It was easy enough to find the hotel and to park and it was a pleasant 15 minute walk into the beautiful, historic town of Potes with its excellent restaurants. There were also supermarkets nearby. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and we has a nice view of the hills above the river and the lovely garden. Breakfast was good. We really appreciated the kindness of all the staff - Carmela helping me with my Spanish etc. We definitely want to stay at the Toscana next time we visit Northern Spain, but for a bit longer next time.

The breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and the location is excellent with only a short walk into Potes. The rooms were perfect for us with very comfy beds and nice modern bathrooms. The most memorable thing was the staff there, who were very friendly and helpful, and as a real family run business they seemed to genuinely care about their guests. A great stay and would recommend to all.

A very nice place to stay, small, comfortable with friendly competent staff. The scenery from the bedroom window was spectacular. Breakfast was very good and you only paid for what you selected

A lovely newly renovated hotel. A staffed reception. Staff warm, helpful and genuine. Any request met with no fuss. Parking and easy access. On the main road but backing onto lovely farmland so the view from the windows is peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a log. Breakfast available in the little restaurant was delicious. Gluten free options no problem.

“An excellent hotel”

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was very well cared for and was a good size with an excellent bathroom. A good location, being a short walk from supermarkets, bars and the main town. It also was excellent value. We would reccomend this hotel very highly.

Clean rooms and recently refurbished, lovely patio area outside our room to see the stunning mountain scenery. Breakfast was great, scrambled eggs and ham on toasted bread.
