Location close to the lake. Very polite hosts. I suggest you rent the SUP.

Kind hosts, clean and tidy. We were there for Easter, we had a wonderful time. Peaceful surroundings, close to the beach. We walked through the fortress to the center, for those who like walking, a beautiful path. The same goes for the second path from St. John Kaneo to the center. There is no better place to be near the lake and close to the center.

“Lovely place to stay”

The hosts are kind, helpful and generous. It has a lovely homely atmosphere. The location is good in a nice and peaceful setting. There is a beach right outside the front door. The old town is a short walk away either by the road or over the hill. Walking over the hill gives you spectacular views, especially at sunset. We had a lovely time and would definitely return to Vila Sara in the future.

“Cool”

Located in a nice, quite place with a private beach to the lake, absolutely amazing. Ideal property for a wide variety of tourists for families, and for youngsters as well. The centre is a bit far from there by walk, but we discovered a bunch of shops and restaurants within 10 minutes.

Good place near Ohrid lake

The place was great and the hosts are very nice (we even had homemade cake for breakfast). We were traveling with a dog and there were enough places for walk near the lake. There are two options to get to the city center - one through the forest and Kaneo and another one crossing not the best neighborhood. Nevertheless our stay was perfect.

“Great guest house by the lake in Ohrid”

It was an amazing stay with Lile and Hristo, and their daughter Sara. They were so kind! They took care of all our needs, and even prepared typical dishes for us for dinner! We had homemade Raskia and enjoyed dinner at sunset with a freshly prepared meal, all from their garden. They told us about the history of Ohrid. Also the location is really good, 100m away from the lake, 10min walking from the city center, 10min walking to the little church on the hill. Also the house looks great, in the middle of nature.

Owners are excellent people, area is very quiet, nice, great places to visit. Breackfast is great, very good, with food home-made, very tasty! Pets are welcome, really is a pet friendly hotel. 100% we will be back!

“Best host ever!!!”

Amazing accommodation. Everything goes to the hosts. The first day that you come to ther place they tell you, where can you go to eat, where are good beaches and what do you have to see in Ohrid. You get welcome coffee or tea. Apartment is ok, you have a small kitchen but if you need bigger one you can go to the garden where is the outdoor kitchen with everything you need. From apartment you have amazing view on lake Ohrid. There is small bathroom, but it is ok. You have a lot of parking space next to Vila and it is free. You are 10- 15 minutes walk from the city centre, 4 minutes from beach and 6 minutes from market. Next to Vila you have Ohrid hill. There you must see: castle, old church, Romen theatre, old wall, .... Now the most amazing thing: Second day in Ohrid we had some health issues and at this point the hostess step up. At 10 p.m we heard a knock on the door. The hostess ask us if we are ok, she brings us some tea and chicken soup. At the morning she cooked us coffee and give us a fresh baked bagels and some vegetables from the garden. It was very easy to overcome sickness with such a host. I recommend staying here, and the next time we stay in Ohrid we will definitely stay in vila Sara.

The hosts are wonderful people and we felt like staying with family. The house is in a perfect location right on the lake with a beautiful view, away from the city noise but still very close to the centre - you can walk there. WiFi is great if you need to work like we did. I would recommend this place to anyone.
