Our stay at Lake House Sand was absolutely fantastic. This was honestly one of the best vacations of our lives. The location is simply perfect – right on the shore of Lake Ohrid, with breathtaking views from morning until sunset. The house is comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and offers everything needed for a relaxing holiday. A special thank you to Natasha, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked until our departure. The internet connection was surprisingly fast and reliable, which is not always the case in such beautiful lakeside locations. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, the crystal-clear water, and the feeling of having our own private place by the lake. It was the perfect combination of nature, comfort, and privacy. We would gladly return and can recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for a unique stay at Lake Ohrid. Thank you, Natasha, for making our stay so memorable!

“A hidden gem 💎”

If you are looking for peace and a connection with nature, far away from the city noise, this is the place for you. You wake up in the morning, drink your coffee while dipping your feet in the lake, and go to bed listening to the sound of the waves - absolutely beautiful. Add to that incredible cleanliness, alongside kind and communicative hostesses, and you get a great vacation. The only downside I could possibly find is the fact that the holiday is coming to an end and it’s time to leave!

“Beautiful lake side retreat”

We loved the house and facilities provided, and Natasha made us very welcome. This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon enjoying the beauty of Lake Ochrid. We hope to return in the future as it was amazing to have this private space away from the town centre.

It was a perfect accomodation for New Year’s holiday, beutiful house on the lake, great view, and a perfect sunset right in front of you! Perfect clean, got everything you need, even more, very well equipped. The owners are very nice people! All 10’s!

“The perfect place for a stay in Ohrid”

The location is amazing and simply can't be beaten! We were able to swim right outside our back door every morning in one of the most stunning lakes I've ever seen. The kitchen is basic but we were able to cook meals without any fuss and the house a very nice size which was kept very clean and tidy. The owners of the house were easy to contact by WhatsApp and always responded quickly which was also very helpful :)

Wonderful little house on the lake shore. We explored the lake with the two canoes and enjoyed the incredible nature.

The property was well maintained and was even better than the pictures shown in booking.com. It has private lake access and the view is amazing during evening. Has cooking facilities and basic utensils as well.

A beautiful lake house with a private beach. We absolutely loved staying there and already planning to go back! Very peaceful, clean, place with a great location. There are also free kayaks that we used to explore the lake. Breathtaking sunsets so don't forget the camera!

Beautifully located house on the lake, perfect sunset view, yard with flowers, polite hostess, very clean, about 5 minute drive to downtown. Extra bonus, the adorable neighborhood cats, the graceful swans and happy ducks in the lake and a little fox that paid us a visit one night! We loved the every minute there!
