The perfect week stay. The room was very comfortable with fridge, tea/coffee, and kettle supplies. The room looks out over the most lovely cobbled courtyard reminiscent of a French village and is located right in Old Town with restaurants, bars, and markets in each direction and just steps away. Jayne, the host, is an absolute delight and ensured we were happy and comfortable. Ohrid is a very pretty and interesting town to visit with a wide range of available activities and requires at least 5 days to do it justice. Number 9 is highly recommended.

A great location, with everything accessible by foot...and stairs. Ohrid is an idyllic location to idle away your time, relaxing in a cafe by the lake, setting out on foot to take in all the Old Town has to offer, a base for day trips close by, by car and the many excursions available. Stay a few days longer and enjoy. Jayne is an accommodating host, and as I was staying for fourteen nights, had access to the lounge room area.

It has the perfect location right in the heart of the enchanting old town. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy. Jayne was super friendly and gave us a fantastic recommendation for a restaurant. In the room there was already plenty of goodies; cookies, beers, fruit to name some. Such an amazing place to stay made even better by the host.

A really comfortable room, right in the centre of the old town of Ohrid. Our host Jayne was really friendly and helpful and gave us lots of local information. We really appreciated the food she provided for us on arrival (yoghurt, milk, fruit juice, beer and snacks). Would definitely recommend Jayne’s house for a stay in Ohrid.

Perfect location in the old town, easy access to the lake shore and great restaurants nearby. Jayne was an amazing host and helped us out with recommendations for restaurants etc. There are so many thoughtful touches in the room and everything you could possibly need is supplied e.g. beach towels and mats etc. Would love to come back in the future!

In over 30 years of travelling this was the best experience I have had. From the point of making my booking to leaving the property, the host Jayne, was always there to help in any way she could, without being intrusive. Everything the host makes your stay completely comfortable with everything you need and lots of information about Ohrid, the place is so convenient for everything, close to the lake, restaurants and shops. the people I met were very polite helpful and interested in making my stay in this enchanting place wonderful, I guess they have a lot of tourism but remain patient and polite. an absolutely enchanting location I am sure I will return as soon as I am able.

Jayne is a wonderful host. Everything was clean, tide and well organized . We had an amazing week in the apartment in middle of the Old town of Ohrid and we will come back again.

“Old town guest house with welcome gift”

It's just in the old town. Location is good and host is helpful. You could get welcome gift with a bottle of rose wine, cookies and fruits and juices. There's a booklet on the table by host you could read and get useful information about restaurant and somewhere to visit.

My experiance of Ohrid would not be so memorable without such a pleasant stay. The hotel is located within the historical centre, every good restaurant is within walking distance. You can also find a small, almost hiden church in the same street. I would recommend this house to anyone travelling with their family or significant other.

“Perfect stay”

We loved our stay here! First, the room is perfect, very clean, comfy bed, fridge and kettle in the room, plus beach mats and towels which were really useful for the stony beaches around the lake. The location is steps away from the main street and the lake, but in a really pretty and quiet side street. There's a little table and chairs outside where we ate a takeaway one night, and plates and cutlery are available from the host. Second, the host Jayne is amazing! You arrive to a bottle of wine, fruit and snacks which we very much appreciated. She has lots of recommendations, knows the area well, and is a great person to talk to. Her story of moving to Macedonia is inspirational! Couldn't recommend this place more!
