“Not ideal, but nice location.”

The location of the hostel was good, central to the old town and surrounding sights. It had a nice outlook from the balcony. The bunk beds were nice a sturdy. The wifi was good.

The owners were lovely and responsive, accomodating where they could be, let us stay and use the facilities long after checkout. Just generally nice people. The location was great & first hostel ever to have a decent pan and good sharp knives.

The staff here make this hostel. They are friendly, open, and extremely helpful. They can give you advice on what to do while you're there and recommend companies for different excursions. They also organise nights out regularly which are very fun, and arranged for us to get free entry into a local nightclub. The space in the hostel is amazing. Each floor has a balcony overlooking the lake and downstairs there are both indoor and outdoor leisure spaces. They have a nice TV, a PS, and a hammock. The space is also kept very well with frequent cleaning and the property is upkept well. It is great value for money, and it is the best hostel I've stayed in in the Balkans.

One of the best hostel I’ve stayed in tbh. There was such a friendly atmosphere thanks to Aleksander, his friends and Augusto. They were so welcoming and helpful. The location of the hostel is perfect and has a really nice view on the lake. I’d highly recommend it !

The hostel is really nice and pretty clean. The location is just amazing, you're almost in the city center, but it's also a pretty quiet place, the hostel is located in a side street. The shared area is big, you can get some rest and socialize with other travellers. They have an amazing dog. Overall the experience was very positive.

My stay at the Blue Orange Hostel in Ohrid was wonderful. The location is super central, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The hostel is clean, well-equipped, and has great spaces like outdoor seating where you can easily chat with other travelers. What really made my stay memorable was the friendly atmosphere. The staff were amazing and made me feel right at home. Aleksandar, the owner, and his friends were very welcoming. Nikola deserves a special mention for being so helpful and offering great tips on exploring the area. He is very respectful and treated me with nothing but kindness. I ended up staying longer than planned because I felt so comfortable. I highly recommend Blue Orange Hostel to anyone visiting Ohrid.

“A great stay with a fantastic host”

The host Nikola is a fantastic guy and very friendly. He treats you very well, he is outgoing and listens to what you need to say. If you want someone to talk to, he will talk to you. His friends were very nice to chill with and they were all friendly. There is a projector as well to watch some sports games in the garden so it's a great place to socialise. The garden is a great place to just chill, relax and talk to anyone. Nikola also gave me tips where to go for breakfast, dinner and what to see in Ohrid from a local's perspective. The bed I had was very comfortable and great air-conditioning. There are lockers as well and a nice-sized kitchen with a place to eat outside as well. Free, clean water is provided as well which was great.
