Located just 4.5 km from the Ogulin motorway exit, the beautiful and modern Frankopan Hotel provides excellent cuisine as well as sports and leisure services. It is set near the 16th-century Frankopan Castle in the heart of the picturesque town of Ogulin. Sample deer, boar or bear prosciutto, Ogulin cabbage specialities, 30 different kinds of pancakes, and other delicious meals at the restaurant. The hotel has a pleasant summer patio in the hotel’s courtyard, which can be used as an excellent venue for unique events. “Very comfortable hotel”
The stuff was very kind and very helpful. The lady in reception gifted us delicious sweets and fresh water. The room was big and clean, very comfortable bad with a very comfortable pillows. The breakfast was tasty and variable, with freshly made bakery, variety of fruits, snd warm dishes. The restaurant itself is very beautiful with spaces inside and outside.

“Far from being a 4-star Hotel”
Unfortunately this Hotel is more a 2 than a 4 stars. Room is outdated (al least the one we stayed in) with a lack of maintenance, bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, shower door broken and hanging behind the bathroom door, bathroom exhauster covered in dust, opened amenities in the bathroom. To complete our stay with a “golden star”, the AC was not cooling/functioning (during heatwave) and the manager pretended they would call someone to fix it after hours. The only tombs up is for our waitress at the restaurant and the girl at reception (even though we had to ask twice for a fan) who tried to compensate our sleepless night no charging the dog fee.

“Traditional rural Croatian hotel. Worth checking if there will be a school group if you want quiet”
This hotel was on our route exploring the real Croatia and it was as expected for an old building. Don't expect modern luxury. This is a traditional hotel in rural Croatia without a lift.

The location was good and in an interesting area and free parking was easy but it is very expensive compared to what Zagreb offers for the same money.

Great location, just few minutes away from A1 autoput. One of the friendliest staff I've ever came across, warm and accommodating. Great restaurant with delicious fresh food.

“At the heart of a wonderful small Croatian town.”
Ogulin is a lovely town at the heart of a rural economy. The notable cave system was entered by a dramatic chasm very close to the hotel. Great location.

A stylish hotel near the town centre with clean and comfortable rooms. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening, and enjoyed our meals. Good breakfast.

“Comfortable for a young family”
It was comfortable and everything was close. Staff are lovely. The property is older so it w as expected that it would have older facilities but it was very comfortable for a family of 6. Breakfast was lovely. Parking was great and off the Main Street, through a small alley. Easy to find.
