Overview
Noto Hyakurakusou offers Japanese-style rooms with spectacular views over Tsukumo Bay. It features public baths, karaoke facilities and a private fishing area. Guests can enjoy massage treatments with ocean views, and a free pick-up is available from some nearby bus stops. The property has a unique public hot spring bath in a cave, as well as a spacious indoor public bath. Both are open for either men or women at different hours. In addition, a hot bath can be reserved for private use. Other facilities include a library, charged internet PCs and drinks vending machines. Rooms all offer ocean views and a tatami (woven-straw) with a low table and seating cushions. Some rooms have traditional futon bedding, and all are fitted with a fridge and an LCD TV. A safe is provided, and female guests can choose a colourful yukata robe to borrow. Noto Hyakurakusou is located right in front of Tsukumo Bay, a 10-minute walk from a walking route around the bay. Noto Airport is a 40-minute drive. A Japanese breakfast and dinner featuring seasonal specialities is served at the dining room.

“A great destination away from the busy overseas tourist destinations of Kyoto and Tokyo”
The staff spoke good english and were extemely helpful. The food included in the half board price served in private dining areas was amazingly well presented traditional Japanese food. That looked and tasted out of this world. Some of the best food we had on our trip to Japan and we stayed in several expensive Ryokan. Lovely private or public outdoor onsen or in a subterranean cave. The Noto peninsular is still recovering from the earthquake of Jan 2024 and the terrible flooding in Sept 2024 but a trip there is well worthwhile to see the scenery and see how well the repairs are progressing

“A pampering stay in a beautiful hotel”
It was a long drive up the Noto Peninsula and we had to drive along a narrow road through a short stretch of forest before we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful facade of the hotel. The entire stay was a pampering experience. The view from the room was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared and served in private rooms. We had a 50 min private bath which was extremely soothing. There were small zen gardens, libraries in a corner, and cupboards full of yukatas of different colors and designs. These were very pleasant to the eyes. I also liked how courteous and attentive the hotel staff were.

“Beautiful and tranquil place”
Excellent stay, and the view of the bay from the room was amazing. Both meals were delicious, and we had them in a private room. Also, there were a few private baths. The service staff were amiable and helpful. It is worth a trip to this remote area of the Noto Peninsula.

Located in a lovely little bay with amazing views, we had the most pleasant stay. The food was extraordinary! The possibility of selecting one or more differently patterned Yukatas for every day of the stay was a nice extra.

“Great staff, great food but the hotel needs a little TLC!”
The hotel has a great location and the staff went out of their way to make sure you felt welcome. The food is mostly fish (raw), and beautiful plated - it’s a work of art! Be sure to take a walk by the sea, there is a trail leading down close to the hotel. The hotel offers shuttle service to/from nearest busstop, Yanagida (aprox 15 min from hotel)!
