“excellent stay in Ofunato”

reception staff were really polite despite slight language barrier especially when the power went out. Breakfast was a mix of japanese and western options which was really nice and rooms were spotlessly clean. very quite and peaceful place to be yet not too far from the JR station

“Very comfortable, would happily stay here again”

Staff left me check in an hour early. Super friendly, and very welcoming and helpful and patient although I speak no Japanese and they don’t speak English (they do have a prepared card however, with English phrases that they can point at during the check-in process). You’re also given an English print-out explaining what time and where breakfast is served, when the public baths are open, and so on. Very close to the train/bus station Located right next to a 7-11, a supermarket and a lot of restaurants and shops Room was very thoughtfully-designed with plenty of electrical outlets, a sofa + table Public bath is great, water is nice and hot (please note this is one of the places that does not allow those with large tattoos to use the bath. They do however, sell tattoo seals/covers at reception) Provided robes/yukata are are very comfortable Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of Western and Japanese dishes

Staff are excellent, very good service. 3rd time staying here, good location. Lots of parking.

“Comfortable place to stay”

The breakfast was amazing everyday. It was always varied and delicious with a wide selection of different foods. Definitely a highlight of my stay. The building was nice and clean and the views were nice. It's close to a number of restaurants and shops that makes it very convenient. The tub in the room was very nice.

“Great price-quality relationship”

Great price-quality relationship. The hotel is well equipped, the staff was very polite and helpful even if they did not speak English, and the location is handy as there are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It was nice to have the onsen, which is large enough for the amount of people we have seen.

Small room but everything one needs for an overnight stay. Shopping centre opposite with some places to eat. Good location for bus station.

“A comfortable modern hotel in a coastal town setting.”

The friendly staff were very patient with my clumsy Japanese. It was a special bonus to find an onsen style bathhouse on site. It was a really good one. The hotel is well situated near some large shops and lots of places to eat. My favourite was a barbecue at your table place. I had good beef plus a salad twice. Very tasty. It is near the Kanow, this restaurant. It was well located near the BRT station and the very helpful information office. Ofunato station. This location provided an excellent gateway to the beautiful Goishi Coast.  Without a car, there is a a local bus that takes only 30 minutes. But the last bus back to the hotel is at 2 pm. Take your walking shoes with you. All the trails are good, and there is also a coastal Trail to the famous Anotoshi iso rock formation. At Goishi beach you can have a seafood bowl while looking out the ocean.
