“Disappointing stay”

We had some issues with our stay at Haukland beach panorama house. Firstly when we arrived at the site there was only two towels provided for our group of six. There were no washing tablets provided for the dishwashing machine and nor was there detergent for the laundry machine. Additionally all the remotes were missing batteries. So we could not control the led lights or the sound system. Soon after that we discovered that the only toilet in the house had some problems. Namely flushing system remained active even if the cictern was alredy full. On the second day we discoverd that the toilet bowl itself was overflowing. There was no blockage on our end. We had to shut off the main water valve to avoid flooding the house. We contacted the owner and learned that it was a known issue. After few calls back and forward they sent a caretaker to our site. After 4+ hours of waiting and new calls later it turns out the issue was marked as non-urgent and nothing was done to getting this issue fixed. When the caretaker finally arrived he provided some towels and tablets for the dishwasher but could do nothing about the toilet situation. The owner agreed to accomodate us at the different site. We had to cancel our evening plans in order to move to the other site. Sadly the second site did not meet our expectations. The house was considerably older and did not have a sauna which was a main reason why booked the original site. Some of us had to share a bed at the new site, because there was not enough single beds. Given the extent of the issues we experienced and the disruption to our stay, we believe some form of compensation would be appropriate

Fantastic location, surroundings are just beautiful. Cosy and warm property with excellent facilities. If we needed help, someone was instantly on the other end of messages.

The view is superb from the house, but owner didnt cut the grass thus blocking the dollar view. Internet coverage was bad too due to location in the valley. Lastly water pressure is seriously bad leave us only with hot water

This place is simply magical. It is a beautiful cabin / house, furbished to a high-standard and with great taste. The view from the living areas are breath-taking and the outdoor seating area is perfect for watching the sunset. The location is idyllic, a quick walk from the incredible Haukland beach. Finally, the intermediary managing the property provided outstanding service. Mila, the person I connected with, is professional, polite and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall this is an excellent place and we would love to come back!
