Overview
Located in the village of Ambach, a 5-minute drive from the Acherkogelbahn Cable Car of the Hochoetz Ski Area, Gasthof Ambachhof offers an Italian restaurant and a free taxi service twice a day. Rooms are situated in 2 separate buildings, 20 metres from each other. Every room has a private bathroom and cable TV. Free WiFi is available in the entire building. Typical Italian specialities like pizza are served in the à la carte restaurant. Breakfast is served every morning, and half-board includes a 3-course dinner. A playground for children is available on site. You can park your car for free on site and store your ski equipment in a separate room. The ski bus stop is located in front of the house. The Aquadome Thermal Spa in Längenfeld is a 20-minute drive away. The Area 47 Leisure Park can be reached by car in 5 minutes, and canoe tours can be organized in the store next door. Guided skiing tours to St. Anton, Ischl, Oetz and Hochoetz are offered for guests staying longer than 6 nights. This is not applicable for reservations including ski passes.

We arrived far to late around 23 pm, and even though I forgot to call the hotel and advice them about our late arrival they had made the keys readily available outside the hotel. We had a good night’s sleep and a wonderful breakfast before continuing our journey.

We had a wonderful stay at Gasthof Ambachhof! The location is perfect, offering easy access to Innsbruck and Sölden. Our room was cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience throughout our stay. The restaurant was a highlight, with a great selection of delicious dishes and generous portions. We especially appreciated that pets are welcomed, even inside the restaurant, making it a perfect choice for traveling with our dog. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and we felt right at home. Thank you very much for everything! It was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend Gasthof Ambachhof for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, service, and a pet-friendly environment!

“Great stop over”
There was no one on check in when we arrived, but after waiting for 5 minutes, a lady arrived and asked us to complete a form and leave it on reception. Not great as this had personal information that was left on reception for anyone to read. On the plus side, she said we could choose any room that we wanted, if the door was open. Our room was exceptional and was like a mini suite with sofa, table and chairs as well as a mezzanine floor. Clean and comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good then next day with hot food as well as continental choice. Great open air car park easily catered for 2 large vans.

-The room was big with a balcony. The bed was super comfortable. The restaurant dowstairs was really good. Perhaps it is a family-run place, which you can really notice. Nice athmosphere.

We had for dinner the best pizza we ever eaten in our life!! It was big and delicious, and the price.. fuu :) Really great. And the breakfast was also great, we did not expect so many meals to choose from, for that price everything really great! Thank you :)
