“Beautiful Setting but lacking”

The room, with ensuite bathroom, was comfortable and basic. There was a coffee maker in the room which I appreciate. The problem was the fridge to keep my milk was outdoors in the outdoor kitchen area. The natural pool out back was wonderful and surrounded by plants. Bed was comfy, and airconditioner and wifi, always appreciated.

We loved this place. Host is friendly and welcoming. Lots of cats and dogs are living in this properly so this is the stay for anyone loving animals. Breakfast was excellent.

The house is in a very nice area, the outside garden feels like a forest. If you have a car, it's not a problem to get there although the road on the estate isn't in the best shape. There's a nice pool outside as well and a kitchen, too. The room was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed the peaceful bush location at Casa Avi Fauna, and the swimming pool was an added bonus. Our host was so helpful with suggestions of places to include in our trip. Thank you. Would highly recommend Casi Avi Fauna as a great place to stay

Avifauna guest house was a wonderful oasis outside of Playa del Coco, only a short drive to a number of amazing beaches. Sandra, the host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Having access to the pool was a really nice touch to cool off.

Very quiet, close to nature, we saw monkeys, birds all variey of wildlife. We loved the dogs and cats! Sandra was amazing host. Bed was very comfy, room nice and big. Pool and garden fantastic.

The owner is very friendly and gave us information where to go to avoid the most touristic places. Everything was very clean. Large bathroom and comfy bed. The house is close to the beach yet very calm and peaceful environment. Nice friendly dogs and the backyard has a nice pool and outdoor kitchen. Would definitly recommend. A good place to rest.

Sandra is an exceptional host - you can tell she really cares about your comfort. The accommodation was the cleanest of any place I stayed in Costa Rica, and very well organized. It's also a very relaxing area and only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

Everything here was perfect. We were lucky enough to arrive as the hosts had just made some chocolate banana bread muffins which were the best I've ever eaten and the dogs were so friendly and sweet. I felt so comfortable knowing that they were nearby and standing guard of the property (even though the area seemed 100% safe anyway it's nice to know there's an extra alarm just in case ;) ) the back garden was gorgeous and we spent a lovely few hours cooking and enjoying our dinner under the fairy lights as we watched some lightning in the hills. Perfect fan and Aircon if it's super hot. Great big room and bed and the most comfy mattress we've had over our 3 month trip!!
