“Good place to stay in Tonina but beware no internet”
A bit unusual accommodation here. I arrived and there was no one but keys were left on table with some food. Fortunately someone (a helper of the owner looks like) arrived later on and helped me get access to the place. It has a very nice kitchen well equipped and there was some vegetables left for me to cook something which was super nice. Room is quite big, clean and comfortable. It has a very nice common area for eating outside or read a book next to the fireplace.

we were offered an upgrade for 300mxn which was definitely worth the money - the bed was the most comfy one in our 4w vacation. the view from the terace wss great. the only negative thing about ghf room were some missing window pane so you could here the road very loudly in the morning. the wifi was great (starlink) The host prepared us a dinner(we asked for aoup cause we're sick a little)/breakfast (hotcase) and took us to see the pyramids in the morning - it cost 250mxn pp and you see the Pyramide Po - which is a new excavation - steep hill with amazing view, definitely worth it. but the second was Tonina - we're told to see a pyramide but we only climbed though a fence behind the archelogocal zone to the back of the pyramide and spent 5min there, we could not get infront of or on the top - it was obvious that we're not allowed to be there and this part was definitely not worth it.

“okay, but main attraction Toniná closed”
The welcome was friendly. Our upstairs room was clean and spacious. The ruins could be seen from a window.

“Great space to stay, communication could be improved.”
Delicious breakfasts, comfortable room, and bed, and an amazing view from the terrace of the suite of the archeological site. The host was very friendly in giving me advice about where to go. The shower had hot water. Amazing dinners and a reasonable price to pay for these.
