Very comfortable accommodation with very friendly staff. The Breakfast was amazing, lots of selection and they made us scrambled eggs as well. Recommend and would stay there again.

Everything, the location is right in the of town, the food was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable (if a little dated but that doesn't bother me). The staff were lovely. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

Beautiful old building in a quite small street . Friendly staff .very nice breakfast. Private parking & an area to sit outside . The food was very good in the restaurant with good prices. There was 2 comfortable chairs & a table which you don’t get in other B&B ‘s or hotels .

The Gasthof zum Kauzen was perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. It is easily reached by foot from the Ochsenfurt train station, and is located centrally in the town, with easy access to wineries, biking and hiking trails, as well as to shops and cafes. The restaurant in the guesthouse serves amazing home-cooked meals in traditional Franconian style. The guesthouse operators are welcoming, kind, and helpful. For an inexpensive and peaceful vacation, stay here and take the train or ride a bike into Wurzburg (rather than staying in Wurzburg).

They gave me the largest room dedicated for a family. You can eat menues typical for "Franken" Bavaria. It is an inn typical. The restaurant is totally made of wood. It is a very lovely city medieval with typical buildings.

This is a lovely old fashioned inn in a wonderful medieval town, which is a delight to stroll around and take pictures. Also had a delightful beer garden.

Very good located, it has certainly a long history. Very friendly, also pet friendly. Breakfast was good. We were also dining here and also enjoying a local beer.

Very helpful staff. On arrival my booking had not been received. The Hotel was initially able to accommodate me for 2 of 3 nights, and they immediately made arrangements with a nearby hotel for me to stay on the 3rd night. In fact the following morning, they received a cancellation, and it was not necessary for me to relocate. Easy to find on the main street in the historic old town, and yet only about 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Very traditional property, my room had some fairly creaky floorboards. Buffet / help yourself breakfast. Would recommend.

great location and very friendly staff (even with limited English there were plenty smiles!). “1x vegetarian” in the instructions had been translated as our whole party being vegan and the boss lady had gone out and bought lots of vegan options specifically!! The dinners are typical Franconian) good salads too) and the restaurant was always busy. The rooms are large and comfy and, though dated, are kept clean. The shower had good pressure and was always hot. There was free parking at the back of the hotel.

Nice old hotel in an ancient city. Really good breakfast and tasty cuisine, we ordered diner and it was very well done! Workers are friendly and always try to satisfy all the requests and speak English, that helped a lot in communication! Hotel is located in the center of the city and has free parking, which is a huge benefit! Cause parking is a big problem in Germany in general and in such small streets especially. Prefect for a short-term stay. Wi-fi connection was pretty good.

“A little travel back in time !”

It’s a old German inn …. They preserve very well all the staff and comfort was long ago in German tradition..

Breakfast was correct but the personal was very kind so that we had all what we need. The bed were very comfortable. The location could not have been more ideal.

It was a lovely well renowated old building, nice atmosphere and very helpful staff.
