“Dont Choose This Hotel - Read the review”

The only positive aspect of this hotel was the location, unfortunately. We planned to explore Oceanside and thought the Ramada would be better, but it was not. The price was reasonable compared to others.

I really enjoy the room we’re renting; the staff is friendly and easy to talk to, which makes everything smooth.

Property was fairly clean, beds were comfortable, 20 min walk from the beach, safe (can only acces with the card even elevator)

The mattresses in 314 need to be replaced. Someone tried to open my door at 6am. I was put in a room with adjoining door between rooms and other room was super load past midnight. Would never recommend or stay there again.

“Middle”

Breakfast was the pits. A grab and go thats got no hot breakfast with tables etc .No offense , Ramada's going down hill there are a few in the last couple of months that have had the thoughts that use to be synonymous with staying at a Ramada. The gym could use a little bit of a makeover , except for treadmill and free weights they were okay. Perhaps thats me because of the gym I attend. But the room was okay. Clean enough small enough compact enough for a single or two person occupancy. Taking $200 in cash up front but not letting us know during booking. Well , why not on the card . I was asking myself if this was a good place to stay at , what kind of a neighborhood am I in and asked as much. Get a receipt , will it be returned. Knowing a head , how your breakfast was , cash in advance , no offense, sorry to say but I would look for the place with a breakfast , no cash out of pocket hotel. The gym wasn't a make or break it proposition but has great value.

The front desk person a young man who wasn't wearing a uniform or have a name tag. I found it odd that he was wearing a hoodie and a baseball cap. I also found it odd that he asked to see my wife's ID and when I questioned him why, he said that he can cancel my reservation which I found very rude and disrespectful. I don't know if this correlates with my interactions with him, but he asked me for my email when I checked in and I have been getting a ton of spam mail since, more than usual.
