Much less 'basic' than some reviews suggest. As an overnight it's ideal. The part of town close-by is interesting, with plenty of bars, restaurants etc.,. Dog friendly, parking on street.

The rooms are nice. Despite that it's an old hotel, they did upgrade the rooms. The beds are nice and clean, there's a good working airconditioning and the bathroom is clean with clean towels. There's also free wifi and a big flatscreen TV in the room with Netflix.

“Great value for money. Not luxurious but very comfortable in a perfect location.”
We were in a standard room which wasn't huge but had everything we needed, including a small fridge. The lady on reception was incredibly helpful. Great location close to the spectacular Plaza Mayor. Easy to park right outside for unloading the car, which is always a big bonus when travelling with a dog. Fantastic value for money.
