Pretty well, standard hotel room with decent hospitality. I would like to try their restaurant downstairs for the lunch (it seems to look good).

“Convenient location, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.”
Great location, received a lovely welcome from all the staff, from reception to parking and the restaurant. Good value for money, would definitely recommend. Breakfast was excellent. Once again, the staff were really attentive and professional.

Excellent value hotel, very convenient for the station. The reception staff were especially friendly and helpful. The hotel was very tidy, everything appeared fairly new. Would happily stay here again.

“Well - priced and comfortable!”
We booked the Richmond hotel in Obihiro as a stopover on our trip from Shiretoko to Lake Toya so we were not expecting a super fancy hotel. However, as 'business hotels' go - this was a fantastic place to stay. Staff were helpful and welcoming and gave us very clear instructions on where to park. Check in was smooth and efficient and the amenities available in the lobby were fantastic - they even had face masks! What was even better was that we were also offered free welcome drinks at the lounge on the ground floor which was a nice touch. The room itself was a little small, but comfy for 2 people with the usual TV, tea/coffee etc. Location wise, this place was awesome - right across the road from the JR trains station and great shops. Just about a 3 minute walk away was this fantastic Buta-Don place called Panchos. Lots of nightlife around too so you're not left wanting if you wanted to go out and have fun. Highly recommend this place!

Very good location just opposite train station. Parking underground at train station @ ¥600/day redeem from Hotel. All amenities provided. Literally no need to bring any if just stay 1N. Included 1 Welcome drink at coffee house. Beds and shower good. Reasonable price. Strongly recommend stay.

“Convenient, practically across the road from Obihiro Train Station”
Just across the road from Obihiro train station. Near a 7-11 convenience store, souvenir shops and train station eateries. Room is a good size with a wide desk and 2 chairs. Eco-friendly hotel without single use plastic bottle soaps and shampoos. Laundry facilities can be monitored from TV. Thoughtful pillows (one firm and one soft) provided. Comfy beds and stable Wifi connection.

“Bad experience”
The free drink policy does not make sense. We only received one ticket, and we thought it was meant per room, which means both of us should have received a free drink. When we ordered a second drink, the staff seemed confused and asked if we only had one ticket. We said yes, and she continued to take the order without telling us that we would need to pay for it. It was only when we were about to leave the restaurant that the staff called us back and told us we had to pay for the second drink. This was very embarrassing and made us feel like thieves. We also noticed that other customers received several tickets, so we still do not understand the policy. If you only provide one free drink per room, then please cancel this so-called “welcome drink.” It feels like the hotel is trying to take advantage of guests rather than offering a genuine benefit.

“Recomended”
The hotel's location is excellent, opposite the train station and right in the bustling center. Hotel accommodation included a welcome drink and convenient parking adjacent to the hotel. of restaurants. The room was beautiful and spacious enough.
