The beds were super comfortable. I haven't slept that good in a while. Everything was clean and comfortable

Breakfast was very good. Hotel is close to the station. Rooms were nice and clean.

The hotel has an 'old' part and a 'new' part. Check-in for both is in the old building. That building is the hostel. The new building is for business people and for people like us who prefer a western style bed and a private bathroom. The room was almost new, as was the bathroom. Very clean and luxurious! Great location.

I only stayed for one night, but the bed was comftereble the atmosphere in the reception was realy nice, there was a comftereble shower with hair conditioner. Every bed was biggger then the matress so you had room in your bed to put your bags.

Really beautiful hotel that has dormitories as well. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Staff were also very friendly - I was greeted every time I went in and out of the hotel. It's located right by Obihiro Station and near lots of restaurants.

It was clean and beautiful inside. The view from the 2nd floor was beautiful. We could watch Netflix and had connections to other media for kids to watch.

I had the best time at Hotel Nupka! I initially booked for one week and ended up extending my stay to two and a half weeks—that’s how much I enjoyed it. It's more of a hotel-style stay than a hostel, which suited me perfectly. The space is very clean and comfortable. There’s a lovely lounge downstairs connected to the café, where you’re welcome to hang out or work if you’ve bought something. They also offer a separate lounge/workspace in the building next door, which I found really convenient and useful. The owner, Kotomi-san, is so kind and welcoming—she really made my stay feel extra special. All the staff were equally lovely and helpful. There’s also a lot of information available about things to do in and around Obihiro, which made exploring the area super easy. The location is fantastic too! I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Obihiro—it’s a wonderful place with great vibes and people.

The challenge is that the reception is at one location and the actual accommodation is in another building nearby. If I didn't do my research, I'd be confused about the whole thing. I suggest this information to be included upon the guest's booking or before they commit to the booking.

I really loved the place, it had great atmosphere. I stayed in the compact room, but the space was well planned and I felt quite comfortable. Walking distance to the station, and an amazing amount of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood (and one in the hotel, too). Do recommend!

“best place to stay in Obihiro”

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Nupka. The bar/cafe uses local products and has a great craft beer selection. The staff are wonderful - one amazing woman went out of her way to call around to find a hospital that would accept me afterhours when I discovered some mysterious wounds from a biking accident. Thanks for everything - this place rocks!!
