Overview

Very big beautiful garden. The beds are super comfortable and not too soft. They provided two towels per person. The shower is great. Everything was clean. Flexible staff, I called last minute to add another guest and it was no problem at all.

“Fantastic Stop/Base for Hiking”
A very comfortable and homely guesthouse, perfect to use as a rest stop or base for hiking in the region. There are loads of great hikes nearby and lots of interesting hikers to meet in the house. The staff were very friendly and could speak German and French (perhaps more, we didn't ask). The room was comfortable and clean and even included a kitchenette.

Spacious room with comfortable beds. Restaurant was closed but the owner gave us bread and tomatoes and cakes.Really kind of them. Very nice breakfast with great coffee.

Absolutely gorgeous location on the border with Germany. Beautiful surroundings, great view from the bacony, you can hear owls at night. There is a bath. Very homely atmosphere.

“Old home in a beautiful spot that needs some TLC”
A beautiful location. But the whole place needed a good clean. We appreciated the history and plenty of books etc but the hand rail and general cleanliness stopped us from wanting to eat dinner there! Strong smell of old dog! The dog in question wandered out of the kitchen which isn’t a good sign. We had an uncomfortable welcome as we waited for someone to acknowledge our existence. Breakfast was too expensive for what it was. But these are meant to be helpful comments as it could be marvelous!

“Ate, drank, laughed and slept well during a weekend of hiking.”
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and eager to meet our needs. We were early for dinner but could already sit in the dining room and were brought an appetizer platter and served drinks. Dinner was enough to fill us all up after hiking all day... we came 22 km on foot... and the rooms were compfy, warm, roomy, with modern facilities but still lots of traditional charm. Extremely good value for money. The weekend was a 50th birthday celebration for 4 people and with 2 rooms and ALL we could eat and drink for the two days, the total bill was under €350.
