Overview
Surrounded by the Ötztal Alps, this guesthouse is only a 3-minute walk away from the Hochgurgl Cable Car. In winter, the sauna and the infrared cabin can be used free of charge. There is also a sun terrace. Pension Angern’s bright rooms are decorated in a traditional wooden style and feature cable TV, a work desk, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Most have a balcony with mountain views. Half-board is served at Pension Dorf Alm, which is directly connected to Pension Angern. A bus stop is nearby, and private parking is free of charge. Covered parking for motorcycles is also available. The centre of Obergurgl is 3 km away. From early June to early October, the Ötztal Premium Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.

“Great choice for short ski trip”
Great breakfast, dinner and spa area. Nice hosts. The apartment is located two buildings behind the church. Lift access is 400m and walkable.

Very good with plenty of selection, both hot and cold. Good coffee and a pleasant atmosphere, in a lovely, family run and family orientated environment.

“Definitely a place where to stay when skiing holiday !”
Very cozy restaurant, cottage style with open fire, giving a warm atmosphere. Local specific food and beer served. Staff is very friendly, especially the two small helpers ( the owner`s sons :) . Enough parking places. Easy to reach cablecar by skiis due to a small skislope.

“Amazing stay, comfy, clean, made to feel like family!”
This exceeded our expectations! We had the room on the top floor so we had a great view every day! The beds were comfy, the showers were hot and powerful, we had two rooms for four of us which was plenty of room and lots of space. Lots of cupboard space and English channels on the TV as well! There is a vending machine for quick drinks/snacks. However the breakfast and dinner at Pension Angern were seriously good. Breakfast was yum, with plenty of choice of meats, cheese, sweet breads, toast, coffees, juice, fruit and yoghurts. Dinner was relatively simple but plentiful and yum and there was a choice of two mains which you would choose at breakfast time. The meal in the evening is definitely plentiful, with soup, salad, main and dessert! Drinks were extra but this is expected from most places now. The staff were friendly, and we had a farewell Schnapps! The bus stop is just up the road so easy to walk to for the ski lifts, and Hochgurgl is close by, however we did bus to Obergurgl too. There is a ski room as well to put all your ski equipment to dry off after a hard days skiing. Overall this was an amazing stay, we didn't want to leave!

“Nice week in the beautiful place.”
Nice breakfast, excellent dinners. My compliment to the chief. Super sauna . Above all very nice people. The house is 300m from main lift Hochgurglbahn and it is possible to go by ski to it.
