Set in the Obergurgl -Hochgurgl Ski Area, Hotel Mathiesn offers rooms with balcony, a wellness area and an on-site restaurant. WiFi is available for free. The location is brilliant, right near the main lifts. The hotel is spotless, rooms we had were great, fantastic view from our balcony. Food was fantastic. Wellness area was lovely, very relaxing at the end of the day.

“Outstanding”
Great location; great restaurant on the property; comfortable rooms; very clean, great boot room; friendly staff; parking on site. This was our second stay here and when we come back to Obergurgl there is nowhere else we would rather stay. It’s literally across the street from the main ski lifts and ski hire place.

“Perfect for a short ski trip with friends”
Breakfast was very good , lots of choice and great service. Very close to ski shop and slopes and ski bus. Very friendly staff who were very kind and helpful when we got snowed in for 24 hrs. They also provided a cake and candles for a special birthday !
