Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits, eggs, granola with all different kinds of nuts and yogurlt . It served on the rooftop when the weather was good and sometimes served at the dining room as well. It is located in a quiet area in downtown. The hotel is close to many good restaurants and the well known tourist areas.

Kind staff, room was nice, very clean with cleaning service every day, breakfast was good (although it starts a bit late and the sweet options are limited), there is always a member of staff 24/7 for any requests, great position in a quiet street but very close to city center.

Nice room, great and attentive staff. Felt very safe as there's 24hrs reception staff. Breakfast was great with both cold and hot (cooked on the spot) options. We had a great stay here, definitely recommend.

Gorgeous boutique hotel on a quiet street near the centre of Oaxaca, with an incredibly welcoming and helpful team running it! My favourite hotel during our 2-week holiday travelling around Mexico. We had the ground floor room, which was well quiet and beautifully decorated throughout. The home-cooked breakfast options and the coffee were delicious.

“A++ stay, incredible staff and great hotel”

This was our favourite place we have stayed in Mexico so far. The staff were very kind and attentive, they were very cheery and did anything they could to make sure we had an amazing stay. There is a wonderful roof terrace and the breakfast (which is often served here) is also great with a different cooked option each day (e.g. omelette), cereals, juice, yoghurt, different fruits etc. The decor was very cool, the shower was great, we had all amenities we needed (hairdryer, iron, coffee machine etc.)

Great location in the historic part of town. Staff were so friendly, rooftop terrace and a great shower. We were very comfortable during our stay. A hot food breakfast option each morning with complimentary continental selection was also appreciated as well as a coffee machine in our room.

Thank you to Dulce, Sergio, and all the staff, (sorry I didn't get all the names) for an exceptional stay! Everyone was so welcoming, and caring; the breakfast delicious, location perfect, La Casa Carlota made for a delightful visit to the beautiful city of Oaxaca.

Very authentic small B&B with only 5 rooms which I really liked. It is located some mins walk from center. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Room is very clean, bed is extremely comfy.

The breakfast was very good. The hotel is safe, beautiful, modern and the showers are great.

Super nice place, hidden in the north of Oaxaca, very close to all sights - we did everything by foot. There is always somebody present, and they are always willing to help you! The tour they recommended was also worth it!
