Overview
This restored colonial mansion is located in central Oaxaca, just 200 metres from the 16th-century Santo Domingo Cathedral. It offers an outdoor pool and rooms with cable TV. Hotel Oaxaca Real’s La Terraza Restaurant serves traditional food from t he Oaxaca region. There is also a poolside bar. The hotel offers free parking and room service. Up to two children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing beds. Oaxaca’s Museum of Culture is just 200 metres from the hotel. You can drive to Oaxaca Airport in 25 minutes.

“A beautiful place to explore”
The location was great, within walking distance of many restaurants, the main city centre and lots of activities. There was a parade right in front of the hotel on Black Friday, which was a very cool experience. They arranged for us to go on a tour to the Hierve el Agua and a few other stops along the way, highly recommend!

Lovely and beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Most perfect location, in the middle of the centre. It feels safe. Nice swimming pool. Clean rooms.

Fabulous location. The room was small but comfortable and suited our needs. The hotel has a garage with a friendly attendant. All very convenient. I loved swimming in the cold pool. And the restaurant La Terraza was oh so good.

“Disappointing and noisy”
The hotel staff is very friendly, and the location is central, as with any other hotel in the old city center. The lobby is small but nicely decorated. We had breakfast at the hotel once, which was okay.

“Well equipped and central”
We spent 4 nights in the hotel. The room is nice, the restaurant on the terrace good and very practical, all you need is nearby with cafés, old city or tour starts to the east and street food. If you have a room with interior view be aware there is only no music either at the bar or restaurant between 2 and 8am if you want to open the window and sleep.
