The Hacienda Los Laureles Oaxaca is a delightful refuge, nestling amidst aging cypresses and colorful gardens in the heart of this provincial district, close to the ruins of San Felipe del Agua. The boutique hotel rooms, each have a distinct Mexican flavor. Cool whitewashed walls, terracotta floors, and wrought-iron furniture lend a rustic authenticity, which is combined with warm woods and bold Mexican fabrics to create a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant Los Cipreces features an exciting selection. The hotel is located in Oaxaca, the distance from the hotel to the center: is 5.2 km, a colonial jewel in the south of Mexico, declared by UNESCO as part of the world's cultural heritage; a city with 450 years of post-Columbian and Spanish history and more than 3,000 years of pre-Columbian history.

“Beautiful and relaxing stay”
We loved our stay at this hotel - it's an easy drive into Oaxaca but in a quieter suburb which still has a few places to eat. The grounds, pool and restaurant are really lovely and the staff are very friendly. We were able to park easily and appreciated the 24.7 security guard there.

Beautiful hacienda with colonial Spanish architecture set in the foothills on the Sierras. Gorgeous unpretentious lush garden. An oasis away from the bustling hit exciting city centre.

The hacienda, the grounds, the pool, everything was beautiful and clean and kept up nicely. Wonderful staff with at least one person who spoke English there at all times.The food is also very good in the on site restaurant, we looked forward to eating there multiple times. San Filipe is a hidden gem of Oaxaca. A wonderful place to get away from the busy city and wake up to the sound of birds.
