“Quiet hostel. Great location. Amazing rooftop. No real hostel vibe.”

The hostel is located pretty well. Also the rooftop is amazing. It is not a very social hostel, but more a place to relax and explore the city. I guess the cabins on the rooftop are overpriced. They also become pretty hot during the day and beginning of the evening (no aircon). The hostel is pretty clean and the staff friendly.

“Fantastic little place”

Location was excellent. Very short walk into downtown and all nearby attractions. Estiban was a lovely host and check in was super easy. We arrived early and were allowed to chill out on the rooftop terrace while we waited for our room. Decor is awesome and coffee is muy bueno. Would definitely stay again!

“Safe, clean, colourful, comfortable stay in Oaxaca”

I stayed a whole week here. Vibrant decor in a relaxed atmosphere. I had my own room up on the terrace. It was comfortable and had a good fan which was needed in the heat. I slept well. The Hostal is kept clean, being given regular attention by the owners who are very personable and provide coffee every morning. There is good fresh drinking water provided (no need to buy plastic bottles of water!) This is very useful as the tapwater isn’t good to drink in Oaxaca. The Hostal feels friendly and safe. They arranged a car to take me to the airport as Uber don’t operate here.

I loved the imaginative, creative decor and the relaxed, friendly, family vibe. Everything is kept very clean. The hostel is a short walk from markets and fresh coffee is available every morning at the hostel. I had my own room on the upper floor terrace, with a good fan And to the toilet and sink were very close by.

Hostel was very clean and had a cool vibe. Really liked the rooftop terrace. When we stayed it was very quiet so we basically had the place to ourselves. I feel if it is busy it might mean waiting for the bathrooms as there are only 2 showers and 3 toilets available (1 shower and toilet are in the same room).

“Awesome rooftop hammocks and cat”

This hostel has a roof top space that had 2 rustic cabins and 8 hammocks and two bistro tables surrounded by potted plants. We really enjoyed the rooftop. The spiral staircase getting up was a little scary but we got used to it. The tar roof got our feet black so remember to wear your shoes. The host was nice. There was a cat and turtle which my son loved. The bathrooms were adequate. It had a kitchen if you wanted to cook. It was 2 blocks from the main square. It was located in a busy street. We compared other hostels and thought this was best for us because of the rooftop hammocks.

“Charming, quirky, quiet stay in central location”

This is a charming little hostel. When I visited there weren't loads of guests, so it would be difficult to judge what the vibe would be like with more people. It's not a party place, but more like staying in a quirky, cute family home, because the family live here too. There's a nice roof terrace and a stunning, friendly cat, called Boots. Not loads of lounge space (apart from the large roof terrace). Good central location. Staff were chilled and kind.

The staff is very friendly, the location is close to everything, very clean as the cleaner was going all day, the private room was excellent, and the hostal had a ton of character with plants, flowers and art everywhere.

I stayed here two nights while exploring Oaxaca city. I arrived via night bus from Zipolite at 6AM and staff got up and left me in at this time. I had own room upstairs with bathroom next door and looking out at a lovely vibe of a terrace where you could relax in a hammock or have friendly chats with others guests. Bed was big y super comfy and more than enough room for all my things and more. I worked via laptop Monday morning when I was checking out - WiFi worked perfect! And lady doing room service left em to last to ensure not disturbing me. Just overall a really lovely time. It truly is like magic when you step into their entrance - all the chachkis, jaguar sculpture with guitar overhead y little piñatas hanging. All so cute and.. well.. magical lolz.

We loved this Hostel! The staff were so sweet and we both loved the decoration. It is not a typical hipster hostel but feels more homely with a lovely roof terrace with plants and hammocks. It was simple but nothing more was needed. We felt welcomed and our double room was perfect and great value for money. It was so colorful and felt very Mexican! Thanks guys!

I absolutey love everything! You fill like home with a first step, wonderful tarrace and stuff.

Be aware you're not only guest in a hostel but also in a familys home. We had a very pleasant stay and the rooftop was lovely.

It's a nice little hostel near the centre. I had a private room which was very comfortable; however, there was no safe in the room and the door didn't seem too secure. Other than that it was perfect!

Very helpful, got me a taxi to the hospital and really helped me out. Thank you
