The place was exactly like the pictures and at a walking distance from the center of Oaxaca. It was very quiet at night at all the necessary for the stay.

“We fell in love, this place has magic”

Our 3-week stay was just great. They took care of the most minor details, as their cute and cozy "cottage" was not only the most inviting and clean but stocked up with all necessities (drinking water, milk, coffee, sugar, breakfast cereals, croissants, and plenty more) beyond imaginable. The kitchen has everything for short and long stays, a bathroom full of basic yet necessary cosmetics, and a bedroom has plenty of storage room. The bed is super comfortable, the place is quiet during the night, and tranquil during the day as there is no direct car traffic outside. All was just perfect! Thank you, both for having us. Oaxaca has a special place for us now, but with our host's hospitality, our stay was beyond fabulous.

“Lovely peaceful private apartment”

Lovely homely apartment on a quiet street very close to the central square. There was water and breakfast food provided, and cleaning offered twice in a week. When I had a problem with the light this was resolved very quickly. Very private, and tranquil. I picked up the key from a lockbox and able to leave on the table when leaving.

Great quiet locaction. Very comfortable apartment for max 2 people. The apartment has all you need for a pleasant stay. It can get pretty warm in the hous, but luckily it has an aircon! For breakfast I would recommend Pan con Madre (50m) or Cafebre (300m). Also the market Sanchez Pascucas next door is great for lunch.

Everything was great but the payment procedure was too pushy.

The property is well located and has its charm. Although there were some issues with communication at first and you never get to meet the house owners (which are hesitant to even answer the phone), the communication ended up being good and most problems were sorted out. They provided a cleaner and replied quickly to messages.

The check in/out process was seamless, our hosts were very responsive to all our messages, and the property was fantastic. Everything we wanted was in easy walking distance and it was lovely to have a whole apartment rather than a room. The photos don't do it justice, it was very pretty and so homely. We had lots of water provided for us too. The host also made payment easy and gave us an enormous list of recommendations, and helped us find a bar which was showing a football game we wanted to see.

Location was ideal for tourist areas and ADO(15mins). Quiet street. House was perfect for our short stay(4 days). Food provided by owner was a bonus. Entry to house was straightforward and communications with the owner were simple and efficient

We had a small kitchen with a frig, sink, and a 2 burner hot plate which was adequate for our needs. The location was perfect, easy to get to, and there was the greatest bakery about 1/2 block away Pan Con Madre. The host left us lots of good food to use, cereal, tea, bananas, etc. We didn’t use much of it because we liked to use our own food.

“Perfect Lovely Stay”

we stayed over the Dias de los Muertos festival and Casa Mixteca was the perfect place to stay, centrally located but on a quiet road so you were able to sleep while the festivities went on through the night. having the kitchen area was great and we made ourselves coffee every morning Moises was attentive during our stay and asked if we needed the place cleaning and was quick to sort out the Wi-Fi when we were having issues Lovely place to stay, we’ll be back again
