It was near beautiful trees. Decor was cool, nice wallpaper. Onsen excellent.

I only booked one night so there's not much I can say... the bath is comfortable, room is clean and nice, near the oarai aquarium.

Dinner was great, we enjoyed local ingredients both fish and meat. The Onsen was so relaxing with nice temperatures. The ocean view from the room was beautiful, worse to booked it!

It was in a nice location overlooking the ocean. Rooms were clean and large.

Breakfast was good and as a vegetarian, I was able to eat a number of items. The room was big and the clear view of Pacific Ocean from the room was very relaxing. I really appreciated the late night access to the public bath, that allowed me to use it in privacy.

The hot tub was great.

Rooms are massive. Clean towels daily. Staff are very hospitable. Arrival drinks are a nice touch. Right next to the aquarium. Filter coffee provided in the room is yummy.

everything is very old. location is pretty much impossible without a car. it was the only hotel i could pick because of the hanabi festival i regret it a lot it was a very unpleasant time because: - the aircon was centralised so you cannot adjust your own temperature and it was very hot - if you are not driving, you could only rely on taxi after 5pm basically and they are expensive - you may say oh you can eat at the hotel restaurant but if you haven't reserved it there's nothing for you. even with reservation you can only make one set meal no other option at all. v hard for people with food allergies - and there's no convenient store or restaurant around so you MUST take a taxi - and because you need the hotel staff to help you with taxi booking - here's the worst part: no one, absolutely no one speaks English in the hotel it was very hard to communicate at all. it came to a point that no staff no manager no director NO ONE could do easy communication so we had to rely on Google translate you could imagine how hard it was. - wifi also not working I genuinely do not suggest this hotel to any non Japanese tourists, ESPECIALLY ones without a car.

Location was perfect close to the aquarium and short distance to the beach.

The room was of an older style Japan and way larger that modern Hotel rooms. You could even open the window with a view over the gardens and let in fresh air. It was so good that I decided to stay an extra night. Located on the seaside for the tourists, right opposite the Aquarium, near the the Shrine and just a short trip to Hitachi Seaside Flower Park.

“Ocean Air Edge”

Check in was fantastic with this young lady who was full of energy explaining all the hotels features. The size of the room was probably the equivalent to a suite in some other hotels. there was a entrance area in the room with a closet, onsen baskets & drawers to choose which coloured belt you want to wear & a wardrobe. Following in from that there was a mattress & base bed sleeping area & a slightly raised Tatami area with other bedding options storage & low tea serving area. A sitting area with table etc Then a full bathroom with another door leading to sep wash area & wc. Even a peep of the sea & the hotel was surrounded by beautiful old pine trees you could hear the ocean everywhere & the aquarium was across the road. We had breakfast in the main dinning room & it was a fairly majestic experience. Onsen was very nice Not a great deal nearby however with a 10min drive there was shopping/Starbucks/laundrymat.
