“Wonderful”

“It was okay for a night stay”
Furnitures and bed was dated. Not very clean. But location was good. Breakfast was better. Oamaru Penguin was in walking distance.

“Homely and friendly B&B and Rodger is the perfect host”
Handy location for town and beach. Rodger is a great host and I really enjoyed our chats, as a local he knows a lot about the history of the area. The house is very homely and a real step back in time to how B&B’s were, as reflected in the breakfast with its impressive array of preserves. The view from our room was incredible, luckily we had clear skies to enjoy the sunrise over the harbour and ocean.

“Ok for a night and pretty good value, especially if you’re looking for something a bit different.”
It was quirky in its vintage style. It was clean and breakfast was provided. Roger, the host, was helpful and friendly. Loved Roger’s determination in keeping the old home running and maintaining its heritage.

“Comfort in yesteryear”
This grand old lady of a home is being meticulously maintained. Can't be easy. The location couldn't have been better with north facing views over the town and front row seats for the sunrise.

“A Charming B&B”
