View is perfect , and the owner is very nice

the retreat housing is like stay in the forest,but very cozy inside. we definitely will re-visit it.

The property description was not accurate, thought it is a hotel but it’s more like the shared Airbnb. Before we checked in, the owner was asking for double confirmation for multiple times after I confirmed the stay and she said one of her guests would love to extend the stay that’s why she asked! This is very unprofessional and makes me feel uncomfortable. This should not supposed to be asked in any of the reasons. Secondly, we let her know the late check in and agreed to pay in cash for extra $50 due to the late check in. She kept mentioning that like we won’t give her the fee. Last but not least, I booked double bed twin room, supposed to fit 4 people. It said room was en-suite but in fact it’s not en-suite for each room! It was semi detached room and 2 rooms share one bathroom! The owner acting rude when she saw we have 4 people and keep saying it’s not supposed to be 4 people and blamed me not tell her in advance.

Breakfast was not provided but there was a large range of tea and coffee options, and some muesli bars. The hostess was friendly and explained everything clearly. There is a balcony off the guest room overlooking the river which is quite special.

The host was absolutely amazing, sharing with us her tips and stories from decades of life and work in the Yosemite. The rooms and beds were super comfy, and there was lots of wildlife around - deers, squirrels and birds coming to the yard in the morning.

Our host was very accommodating and lovely. The location of the property was very convenient as very close to the south entrance of yosemite and it is also set in a beautiful location. One bedroom has a balcony with a view of the river and mountains behind.

A beautiful private house, located approximately 2 km from the city. View from the terrace in the bedroom of the forest, river and nature. Super spacious rooms, access to a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, kettle, dishes). Peace and quiet, 20 minutes by car from the southern entrance to Yosemite Park.

Excellent host with much to say about Oakhurst, Yosemite, California, and more if you want to chat, yet very conscious of your privacy and never insists or intrudes whatsoever - excellent communication via booking.com's messaging facility. A beautiful house on above a gently flowing river, a short drive from Oakhurst, a town not far from Yosemite National Park (about an hour by car to the Valley). A generous room with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, an excellent, well-equipped bathroom, and all in total silence. Really nice view over the river (if the room is available) - it rained/snowed heavily while we were there, and were delighted to enjoy the peace of this room during it.
