This quaint bed-and-breakfast hotel was located just a few blocks from the beach and, in the opposite direction, just a few blocks from the main thoroughfare, Circuit Avenue, where you will want to visit the restaurants, shops, and the entrance to the picturesque gingerbread houses. As far as location, this was fantastic! As a special treat, the hotel provides a one hour tour (Tues and Thurs) with the Islander, Mr. Thomas Dresser — I purchased one of his informative books and hope to connect with him regarding other local history events. The staff’s helpfulness along with complimentary beach towels, umbrellas and chairs plus a scrumptious breakfast, means I plan to return to this charming, bed-and-breakfast hotel the next time I visit the Vineyard. I do wish the rooms — the carpet in particular — would be updated, but that’s a small concession for a fantastic location and service.

Very good location. Welcome on Friday evening, live music and refreshments. Fresh cookies every day and a Mimosa cocktail on Sundays. We had a wonderful time.

The hotel is very well located. Close to restaurants, ferry, beach and so many other nice things to do in Oak Bluffs. The crew now the island very well, and they are always willing to talk and help out those who cannot decide what to do. Lol. The cookies, the wine afternoon, the vibe. Outstanding!!

My 17 years old daughter and I had a terrific stay at this hotel: it is sweet and beautiful with a big porch with rocking chairs, and conveniently located close the ocean. The staff is wonderful and makes everyone feeling welcome. They provide the guests with a lot of extras like fresh cookies and hot cider, beach towels and beach chairs and a great and healthy breakfast. All this made our stay very, very special. We hope to come back and definetely recommend it to people who hope to find peace and happiness during their vacation.

The complimentary breakfast and lobby area for sitting outside was really nice. The hotel was also in the vicinity to walk to main street and the beach.

“A home away from home”

This is a sweet, old fashioned hotel with welcoming staff and cosy rooms. It is in a great location just a few minutes walk to either the beach or the Main Street where the shops and restaurants are. I had a perfect four nights there and would definitely go back!

The hotel's location is perfect and very quiet (5 min walk from the ferry terminal and 5min walk to Main street). Overall, the hotel offers a unique atmosphere and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and cookies are served in the afternoon!

Staff was lovely! Breakfast was excellent! The room had a balcony! The neighborhood was beautiful and perfectly located within an easy walk of the center of town. Low traffic (second week of May). The hotel had many very comfortable places (lobby, patio, porch) to hang out and read or converse.

“Good inexpensive hotel”

Staff were very helpful. Charming common area and verandah. They had a guide come in and give a talk about the island. Coffee and tea and cookies available in the common area. Had more the feel of a guest hour than a hotel

“The perfect place for a stay in the charming and unique Oak Bluffs”

A beautiful period property with an aura of well-being and caring staff. Perfectly located within walking distance of the centre and public transport around the island. A very generous continental breakfast and wonderful cookies in the afternoon.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great location and short walking distance to everything. The lemonade and cookies were delicious also!
