Overview
This harbourside hotel is in the Lolland city of Nysted. Housed in a renovated early 1900s building, it provides free WiFi and free private parking. The main street, Adelgade, is 200 metres away. Each guest room at Hotel Nysted Havn has a TV, an electric kettle and a private bathroom with shower. Most offer harbour views. Breakfast is served at the hotel. “Comfortable hotel, good breakfast”
We had a room with a direct view of the harbor. The room was spacious, with a good bed and bathroom. The breakfast was nice, served in a beautiful conservatory. The service was good, and you can also buy drinks at the hotel, which you can enjoy either in the conservatory/living room or in your own room. A tip for Nysted: check when the restaurants are open and make a reservation in advance. The village has a limited number of restaurants, and for example, the restaurant next to the hotel was fully booked a month and a half after our stay. The restaurants also have limited opening hours, and when we were there on a Tuesday, only the snack bar and pizzeria were open. On Wednesday and Thursday, there were more options (but we hadn’t made reservations), luckily there were still some spots available.

A decent and scenically located hotel. One of the highlights of our one-night stay was the room’s balcony, which provided a picturesque vantage point of the surroundinga. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay. Restaurant Ö located nearby is well worth a visit!
