We loved the place! The host is very kind and does everything to make the stay great. The hotel has two parking options: one on-site, but it is located on a very steep hill that our rental car couldn’t manage. Luckily, there is another private parking lot on the road, just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is a little far from the promenade and the city center, but overall it’s definitely worth the price.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was amazing with the greatest view in town, it greatly exceeded our expectations. Great location. Definitely recommend it.

Very friendly staff with good communication prior to arrival! Quiet area, we didn't do much at Nidri, but easy to go around the island and various beaches from there.

“Greet place for holiday”

A unique, unparalleled view of the sea and islands. Although situated on a hill and slightly out of the way, it had its positives – peace, quiet, and a magnificent view. The center is a 10-minute walk away. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and souvenir stands. The beaches are narrow but well-organized. It's best to find a spot there in the morning or book a sunbed for the following days. The harbor coast is crowded in the evenings, but you can easily find a romantic pub with tables right by the sea. Our apartment was pleasant, quite spacious, with a large balcony window. Always clean, the beds were comfortable. Finally, thanks to Erine, the owner of San Lazzaro. She's incredibly kind and cheerfull. She always greets you with a smile at any time and will happily resolve any request within 10 minutes or provide an advice.

“Great”

I had a lovely stay at this quiet and peaceful place near the center of Nidri. The location is perfect – close enough to walk to shops, restaurants,but still tucked away enough to enjoy some calm and privacy. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfy. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful sea view from the balcony – perfect for morning coffee. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and comfy base close to the action but away from the noise.

Attractive and smart apartments with truly gorgeous views. Rooms were clean and a nice size. Although you pay the price for the views with a short steep walk it is only a brief steep section, most of the walk from the town is flat and pretty. I contemplated whether staying in one of the beach-based hotels would be more relaxing but I love the feeling of being slightly away from the hubbub and enjoyed strolling back to my room.

“Wonderful location in fantastic accommodation!!”

First of all a huge compliment of the creation of the building San Lazarro!! It's so creative and the colour is so nice. And then the location...wonderful!! The overlook at the Ionian Sea/bay and the  village of Nidri is just amazing!! We love to sit on our balcony just watching the beautiful scene! It's worth to climb up the steep slope and the last two stone stairs makes it more easy! The studio itselves is really nice and offers everything we need. The clean up of the studio, beds, bathroom is more then we would expect! Maybe a suggestion could be to offer for the first days some tea bags and/or coffee facilities with sugar and milk cups. (I do this in my own B&B in the Netherlands😊) In the bathroom everything we need is there. We are glad that the grass of the parking area is mowed, so we could park our car there. To go up was a bit of a problem for our car. We enjoyed our stay very much and the walk to the centre of Nidri is a healthy one! Either along the seaside or just along the road. In about 15 minutes you are in the centre  We will recommend your accommodation highly to anyone who will visit the beautiful island of Lefkada! We really liked our stay at SL. The best was the view. Wow, to sit on the balcony, eating or drinking sth and looking across the bay was simply incredible. The staff are really friendly and whenever you have a problem or you need sth you get help. Awesome! As a thank you we even got a bottle of Greek wine. Lovely! Thanks a lot.

“I will remember my stay with great affection”

As a solo traveller, I felt safe staying at San Lazzaro. Prior to my stay, I had several questions, which were answered quickly and helpfully by the team there. I was assured my room had a good sea view. On arrival with my friends to drop off my cases as arranged, I was welcomed warmly by Eirini, her mother and a lovely efficient receptionist(apology I didn't get her name). The latter sorted the business bits out. My room was ready which I wasn't expecting. So an added bonus. The room a nice sized Studio with Balcony and the amazing panoramic view over the smaller Islands with Meganisi and the Greek Mainland beyond. A family run hotel. A lovely family and the staff too. True filoxenia friendship to strangers. I'm sorry my stay was short, but will remember it with great affection
