“The best time ever in our beloved Greece in 24 years!”

The location was excellent, right at the foot of the mountains with a beautiful view of the Meganisi mountains, which reveal stunning veins in the sun. It was wonderfully quiet, and the lovely pool with comfortable stone steps was kept spotlessly clean. The room was spacious, and the bed was wonderful! The balcony at the back was set back in steps, completely discreet from the two apartments next door. The owner, Thomas, is definitely the nicest Greek to walk around on two legs! The lady who changed the sheets and towels daily and kept the apartment clean was also very helpful. You can reach the main street of Nidri by scooter in two minutes, and also reach wonderful tavernas in the mountains within minutes. We have already decided to book the room again next year, D.V., for four weeks. We'd booked for 18 days... Calderimi is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, but also enjoys a great rock bar within three minutes, or a super-relaxing terrace at a traditional Greek grill in the mountains with breathtaking views of Nidri, Scorpios, the sea, and the mountains! Thomas was amazing, very friendly and pleasant. Everything was clean, rooms are equipped with everything you need for the stay. They clean the rooms every 2 days. These also a terrace where you can enjoy your mornings. City is 10 minute walk, and the house in a quiet area. All recomendations!

The host, Thomas, is a charming man. He goes above and beyond to make you happy. The best!

The location was a short walk from the main streets with all the shops, bars and restaurants you could ever need. When you found it too hot to walk then you have a pool on your doorstep.

“A place to love and gome back to”

One of the best we ever came across. The staff is 200% dedicated to service , the location is a 10 , calm , quite , and detached from the towns noise, the room very good and clean, the pool a real joy for a morning/evening swim, and the price is good. It's a "10" in our scale , but if the water water in the shower would be hotter in the morning , and you would out a hair dryer in the room it would be a "12". Thank you , we will be back for sure

Great place to stay, from the welcoming owner, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the swimming pool. Around 15 minutes walk outside the center in a peaceful location surrounded by olive trees. Absolutely recommended.

The location was perfect for having a quiet relaxing break. Then when wanted the many bars, shops and restaurants only a 10 minute walk away. The host Thomas was very helpful and couldn't do enough if asked to make your stay more enjoyable.

“Wonderful place, fantastic value”

Calderimi is a lovely little oasis just outside Nidri with a good pool and wonderful gardens. Our room was a very good size with a balcony and a kitchenette that had everything we needed. Great air con and bathroom too. Thomas was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Loved it so much we went back for 5 days and will stay again.

Thomas is an absolute gem of a host - love the guy ! The lush gardens around the property , the pool , ancient olive groves , the cleanliness .. have only great things to say and cannot recommend this place enough

A beautiful setting & lovely people. Very dog friendly too

A real gem of a place located in the olive groves ten minutes walk from the centre. The host was really genuine pottering about doing odd jobs improving things fitting a basketball hoop in the garden. Huge double aspect rooms great pool surrounded by mature trees etc. small bar nice atmosphere. Building well specified with quality fixtures and fittings such as the fly screens on doors etc.

I liked a lot the hospitality of the host, everything was very clear and it was a lot of green space. I liked that I could work from there. The internet was good enough. Not excelent, but good enough for my conferences (much better than in other places where I was).
