“Fabulous hosts, wrap up warm!”

Hosts are so kind and really help look after you. The view is amazing from the hut. Top of the highest part of town therefore if you’re considering walking back from centre it is a long and hard walk. Biggest bed I’ve ever seen!

Staying with very nice family who did everything to make us feel at home. We realy loved the home cooked food and the view from the patio. The temperature at night also was very good, that made us sleep very nicely. We surely recommend this place.

Woods Hut had a cosy, peaceful feel and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They told us all about the area and helped us organise things to do. The room was warm, the bed was very big/comfortable, the views were incredible and breakfast/dinner were so delicious. We absolutely loved our time in Nuwara Eliya and highly reccomend woods hut!

“A memorable stay with a beautiful family, stunning views and yummy food”

We had an amazing and memorable stay at woods hut. The family are so lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The view from the balcony is stunning. The room is huge with a big comfy bed. The shower is good and the hot water works. The WiFi is good. The place is a short but steep walk into town. this is bo issue for us as we enjoy fitness and working up an appetite but may not be for everyone. We had the most delicious dinner at the homestay (chicken biryani), it was huge and the most generous portion of chicken we've had throughout Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!

The best part about our stay were the owners. They were lovely people, very kind and thoughtful and were trying to make our stay fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The view from the balcony was fabulous. The bed was large and quite comfortable.

“Lovely spot with lovely hosts”

Lovely host family; so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and always available to help. The views from the room are beautiful and the location is good (just a short walk down the hill into town). The bed was really comfortable and warm even on a cold night!

Amazing people, they will go out of their way to make you feel at home and they help you with travel arrangements. Breakfast is very good too.

“Pros / cons you decide”

House owners was helpful and joyful. There were 2 cats in the house and it warmed our hearts. We accidebtally broke 1 plate, owner didnt asked for money and said it was okay but we gave anyway. He suggested places to eat and to visit so that was guiding.

The guesthouse is quite simple but great for one or two nights to Explorer the area. Which is absolutely amazing about this place is the family that owns it. They took really good care of us and the food they prepared for dinner was very good. They also helped us to organize day trips to explorer the area around the town.

“Excellent guest house with a stunning view and a lovely family”

Wasantha and Chithra were extremely welcoming, they made us feel like family. The food was excellent, the room very comfortable and the view was stunning.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woods Huts. We didnt have the best weather while in the area so we didnt get to enjoy the view but everything else was great! The hosts are incredibly warm and accomodating people. Anytime we needed anything they were right there to help. Its clear that they want people to have a positive experience staying with them and they want people to feel comfortable. Thanks for hosting us!!

“The perfect experience in Nuwara Eliya.”

This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts are beyond friendly and will do anything to make your stay perfect. The breakfast and meals that they prepared were delicious, thank you so much. They helped us plan activities even when the weather was not on our side but who needs to do much with views like these. The location is a bit out of town but we preferred it that way and easy to get with tuktuk. Would recommend to anyone who want to stay in Nuwara Eliya
