Don’t stay here, we turned up for 1 night to hear from a cleaner on site the water (assume hot water in the shower) was not working in the building and that we can’t stay there at 5pm at night. We had to by ourselves re-book a separate house elsewhere on the spot. There was no communication from the owner or via booking.com on what was happening and why and what the options were. There were no offers of any help to amend the situation or accommodate us elsewhere. Super disappointed and would not recommend.

The staff is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the location is amazing with an excellent view! Would definitely stay again.

“I had a good stay.”

The room and bathroom both were spacious and clean. The balcony overlooks the town and surrounding hills with great view in the morning. It's about 25 minutes downhill walk to town, but going back will be uphill. The breakfast was nice, although the coffee in Sri Lanka in general is less than desirable. The staff was very friendly and polite. He helped me to arrange a taxi to Adams Peak with a reasonable price.

We had such a lovely experience here, and chaminda was incredibly kind and friendly.. breakfast was excellent.we truly love our stay.. you can enjoy beautiful view of Gregory lake and nuwaraeliya city from there..

“Glad we only stayed 1 night, place is outdated and dusty”

Breakfast was tasty with eggs of choice and a fruit plate. We had breakfast outside in the sun. Concierge responded quickly on my messages and arranged a car for us going to Kandy. Location is not too far from restaurants.

It was a very nice and cozy place—perfect for someone like me who enjoys a little distance from the city center and loves to walk. It was extremely convenient, with everything within walking distance, including Keells Supermarket, Barista Coffee Shop, and the City Center.

Where it was. Dominating searing views of the town and surrounding mountains and the hotel looked pretty. Breakfast and evening meals were nice and the guy who effectively ran the place worked hard to keep it looking good and functioning. Thank you to him

“Beautiful stay in Nuwara Eliya”

The property is incredibly beautiful, with many unique features. It’s in a quiet location, around 25 minutes walk to central Nuwara Eliya but there is also the option of a tuk tuk! I had a gorgeous view from the room I was staying in. I stayed here for 4 nights and had such a great time here all thanks to Carminda (the housekeeper) and his wife. Carminda and his wife cooked a delicious Sri Lankan dinner one night and the breakfast each day was varied and excellent. Carminda was so friendly and was always available to help and answer any questions that I had. He ensured that I had a very comfortable stay at the property. It’s a perfect place for solo travellers, couples and families.

Had an amazing time staying at Villa De Roshe for couple of nights last week. The rooms were not big, but decent sized and clean. The view from the property is beautiful as you can see the whole town along with the lake. It is sunrise facing and there is a waterfall right next to the villa. We enjoyed the breakfast which was served outside with a great view - we tried both English and Sri Lankan breakfasts :) I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a value for money deal right in the heart of Nuwara Eliya❤️

“Easy to check in and super clean property”

The rooms were super clean and also the check-in was very easy. The caretaker of the property asked a day before my time of arrival and was very well with providing the directions on how to reach the property. Overall and excellent stay in Nuwara Eliya.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a cup of coffee. The property looked exactly like the pictures, no difference at all. It was a very comfortable stay, and Chaminda was a wonderful person who helped us whenever we needed. The room and bed were excellent, the view was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. We even had access to fresh vegetables, and all the facilities were just as described. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place.
