Big room, very clean. Everything worked. A 5 minute walk to the Grand Hotel. There is a good food court in the nearby Aliya Green hotel (?) on the corner of the Main Street by the roundabout.

“A Little Gem in Nuwara Eliya Sri”

Easy enough to get to but ealier signage from Grand Hotel Road would be more helpful. Nice free safe parking. Host Lalendra was welcoming and was at our beck and call with a smile. The first view was very pleasing with a beautiful lawn with flower borders and a Tudorish facade of the main building. The room 3 was large with all comforts - big double bed. Hot water on tap anytime made it feel like ome. Fully equipped wash room had really soft clean towels changed every 2nd day. Room lighting was conducive fir work and sleep. Plenty of tea and coffee was mush appreciated. English breakfast was on time every day but as vegetarians choice was minimal. Being very close to the Gregory lake we had the opportunity in the evening ( before 5.30pm) to do a first time boat ride which was the high light after a tiresome business day. We thought Villa Cassandra and Lalendra is a little Gem fully worth the money. Highly recommend. Thank you Lalendra👍👍👍

Very welcoming manager, great location next to town. The room was very comfortable and included a heater for cold weather. Ample parking. Couldn't fault it.

The property is a lovely old colonial building, clean and modern rooms with plenty of space. There are communal areas for breakfast (which was brilliant!)

Location was great. Very quiet. Great sleep, comfy bed with duvet. The host was very helpful. Clean.

Location was good for us, a little out of the town but we prefer to walk. We only stayed one night so can’t comment much further on things. TV worked, we had 2 single beds, the room and bathroom was spacious. No air con but it was wet and a little fresh so it wasn’t needed (we stayed late November) It was fine for 1 night.

The caretaker would not let us use common areas beyond a certain time even though we kept volumes low and no other guests were really getting impacted
