“Beware: Fake reviews!”

Unfortunately, this hotel has bought fake reviews, and it is very transparent to see: Filter the reviews to "oldest first" and scroll down a bit. You will see dozens of 10 ratings from an Arabic account, each for one day of stay. Booking.com has been informed about the issue and will hopefully adjust the reviews. In addition, pay close attention to the final price you pay - they tried to overcharge us almost 4.000 with a wrong currency conversion. The sad thing is, it is not a bad place to stay for the money, and the staff is friendly - honesty would have been the better way. I think the overall realistic rating of the place is in the 7 range.

“Everything was just amazing”

The location and the service at the bungalow were amazing. We loved, that the host shared all his knowledge about the town and the history with us. The area where to bungalow is located is quiet and the houses around are stunning. If you have the chance, stay there

“Good for one night”

The staff was very helpful, the room was big and the comforter was fluffy and nice. Easy walking distance to the town. Breakfast was ok.

Amazing staff and beautiful location. The staff greeted me with delicious tea upon arrival and I got my room much ahead of time and they organised a lovely dinner for me as well. They also helped organise a Tuk Tuk to and from the train station. It’s an easy walk to all the main sights from the hotel and great value for money.

The owner was super helpful, it’s quite and clean and a perfect location to stay in Nuwara eliya

Great location. Close to the victoria park. Walkable to the city centre or Gregory Lake. (1.5 to 2 km). Calm and quiet area. Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Mark arranged visits to the Hortons Plains and tea factory visits and also the TukTuk to the railway station. Good breakfast. They even packed one for the Hortons plain visit.

Perfect location to explore nuwara eliya! The room was quite spacious and clean! The hotel manager really made an effort to organize everything for us and making us feel very welcome!

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was a big, comfy and clean. Location is perfect, very close to gardens and good food place. Overall wonderfull experience, would recommend.

The staff was exceptional! They were so friendly and helpful with everything and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They arranged a reservation for a high tea ceremony at the grand hotel for us (it was amazing by the way), carried our bags, made amazing breakfast and were always there when we had questions or needed assistance.

The cleanest place so far after 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. The place had seen better days however I felt very comfortable there as everything was light coloured and spotless. White linen and white bedding. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
