It felt like being in Europa in the middle of Sri Lanka. The team were great, the garden is so beautiful, the breakfast was good and the location was good. We loved it very much. Very recommended

“Very satisfactory, I highly recommend the Firs”
The location, the property and the two cheerful boys Yasa and Shien are very helpful and resourceful . They made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast is superb. Our every small extra request was met with a satisfactory service.

“Quite a unique guest house with old English charm”
Very quaint with some old English charm. Lovely old house steeped in history. A nice cup of refreshing lemon tea on arrival. Very polite staff. Comfy bed. Decent shower and breakfast. Very quiet so got a great nights sleep

The cottage was beautiful to look at and had a lot of history, which was interesting. It was rhe holiday home of rhe first prime minister of Sri Lanka and still belongs to the family. Some of the wooden furniture were more than 100 years old! The surroundings and grounds were also very well maintained and looked beautiful. We had coffee in the garden in the morning and it was beautiful, cool and crisp weather. The manager was very helpful and attended to all our needs and questions. Very pleasant to talk to.

The hotel is not a 4 star property for the facilities. The room carpet was worn out and bathroom outdated.
