We had a really lovely night here. A big thank you to our caretaker, who was very kind and showed us all the facilities in the room. The room was clean and beautiful, and the dinner was delicious—one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka.

Fabulous experience, definitely somewhere to stay for a romantic getaway. Excellent butler service to our own private dining room which we didn't expect. Staff wonderful. Great TV with sooo many channels, good for international travelers. Comfortable lounge and nice and warm. (cold and wet when we were there). Didn't need to go out of our suite, shame it was only a one night stay.

Think Bachelor pad vibes 😜. Large, spacious and comfortable. Cosy with lots of little touches added for a memorable stay. Beautiful bed linen super quality. The staff were so kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful, beautiful presentation and delicious.

We stayed 2 nights in the King Cabana and it was fabulous. The architectly designed Cabana was truly luxurious.The interior design and the well curated selection of mid century modern classics made our stay at the Cabana one to remember. The staff were super kind and served us an excellent meal in our Cabana our 2nd night as they also did each morning for breakfast. We would recommend it highly Carole & Gerry

“A beautiful stay in a romantic bubble”

Exceptional property with a lovely ambiance. The view from the balcony is exceptional. The cabana is huge and so nicely decorated. The staff are so kind and thoughtful. Breakfast was very, very good. The bath is a highlight. Loved it and wished we could have stayed for longer. Recommend it highly.

The cabana itself is wonderful. It's beautifully decorated, spacious but cosy, and truly a special place to stay. But what really made our visit unforgettable was how the owner and staff supported us during unexpected extreme weather conditions during Cyclone Ditwah that affected the whole island. Because of floodings and landslides, all roads leaving Nuwara Eliya were closed and we couldn’t leave town for several days. The situation felt surreal and completely unforeseen, but the staff took incredible care of us. They checked on us constantly, kept us updated, cooked us amazing food and did everything possible to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. Their kindness and dedication went beyond what you normally expect from a hotel. The rooms in the main house were also great, and it was one of the only places in town with a working internet connection, which allowed us to stay in touch with home and follow the situation. A special mention goes to the owner, who was extremely supportive. When the roads partially reopened, he personally checked the roads early in the morning and went into town to find locals willing to drive us down safely. To give us extra reassurance, he even drove ahead of our taxi himself. We can fully recommend The Edgware to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. Not only is it a beautiful place to stay, but the people make you feel genuinely cared for, even in the most challenging circumstances. Thank you again!

I can’t explain in words how beautiful this property is. You can only experience it once you book it and live in it. It’s ideal for couple and best bet to stay here. What a huge area where they serve you everything at the table in your room from dinner to breakfast. And if you traveling with young one they can sleep in the bed while Enjoy Netflix YouTube downstairs in your personal time and let the kid sleep upstairs. I must tell you the hospitality is next level. And manager and owner is friendly and welcoming can’t be explained in words. They even give you complimentary ride to market in a personal car what else you required. This is personal property so just be mindful of it.
