“Stunning Lake Gregory Views”
The bungalow is a very modern and comfortable place to stay. Our room was quite large, and the bathroom was also very spacious. The facilities provided were great also. The best part of the stay was definitely the stunning view of Lake Gregory, which was absolutely fantastic. The management team were also excellent. Joseph was especially kind and helpful, and even arranged a driver for us whenever we needed one.

This was a lovely place to stay and my room had a wonderful view of the lake. I spent the night of my birthday there and in collaboration with my driver there was a small birthday cake in my room when I arrived, which was a lovely surprise. The made a great recommendation for somewhere to go for dinner, a short tuk tuk ride away (and they called the tuk tuk for me too).

“Amazing Hosts, Amazing Stay.”
Perched high up overlooking Gregory Lake. Joseph & Samon were our perfect hosts. There are only 3 rooms, two look over the lake. Comfortable living room with big sofa to relax. Plentiful breakfast. If you are happy to walk, two good restaurants within 15-20 (Indian Summer & Themadardu), if not Joseph can organise Tuk Tuk for you. Lovely walks around the Lake & Victoria Park. Nuwara is busy but you can get provisions if needed. Our highlight, suggested by Joseph was a walk on the Pekeo Trail from Kandapola to Lovers Leap waterfall. It’s a tough 10-12k walk but you go through the most amazing tea plantations and extraordinary vegetation terraces. Views are spectacular.

The Bungalow is a stunning home with spectacular views. The large living spaces and the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us were also the highlights. The Bungalow is by far the most lovely place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka.

“The perfect stay with the most incredible views.”
Our history couldn’t have been more helpful, meeting us, helping with bags and making us some tea on arrival. He was so kind and welcoming and helped us plan our stay and arrange onward taxis. The view exceeded expectations, as did the room. The perfect stay in Nuwara Eliya, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

“Great stay with a view”
The bungalow was in a great location overlooking the lake. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The house was modern and clean. Loved the big glass windows and high ceilings.

Great stay at this place, the owner was very friendly and met us on arrival to show us around, breakfast was outstanding and the view of the lake is beautiful, its a bit far into the main town but the owner kindly organised a tuktuk for us and its easy to get one back as well. great value for money.
