Beautiful view

“Historical hill town residence”

Really good location, close to central Nuwara Eliya, but at the end of a winding road on the slope of a mountain, with good views. Lovely old building with a very British feel. Beautiful flower gardens to sit and drink tea. I had a large ground floor room with antique furniture, a fireplace and a good bathroom with ample hot water. There is a lounge room with comfortable chairs and sofas, and a big dining room with glass walls on three sides for viewing of the town and lake down below. The access road is winding but in good condition for cars to drive. You would need to take a tuk tuk or a car as it is quite a long way up from the valley floor. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good quality.

Location of the hotel is very close to the city centre. Sri Lankan breakfast was very delicious and portion sizes are large. There's a separate place for having meals with a beautiful view. Sumith and his team gave an excellent service and highly appreciate. Room size and the bathroom size are comparatively large. Hot water was available at anytime. The hotel contained old-colonial vibe.

Such an amazing place. The gentlemen who runs the place will make you feel like home. Got there on a rainy day, they offered hot tea, all the information i needed for my trip to Sri Pada, and some great for meals. I would return anytime.
