“Lovely views over Gregory Lake”
The lakeside rooms have lovely views. You will need a driver or tuk tuk to get into Nuwerah Eliya. Staff friendly and happy to help.

Lovely lake view from our room. Easy access to the centre by tuktuk. The staff were lovely, hotel very clean and manager really helpful.

“A good find with a great view.”
This is a good quality hotel with nice decor and quality furnishings. Our deluxe double room opened onto our terrace and the garden and had a view of the lake. It was a decent size with a seating area. Amal, the manager, spoke very good English and couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was fine, as was dinner, which was good because there aren’t many eating options around.

The room and facilities were great and well maintained, staff were also courteous and very helpful. But what was exceptional was the view of the surroundings and Lake Gregory which was breathtaking - be it early morning, during the day, sunset or at night.

“Comfortable stay with amazing views”
Nice welcome on arrival. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Large balcony with amazing views, including of the lake. Friendly manager and staff. Heater provided in room. Enjoyed indian meal and dosa for dinner. Chef made dosa sambhar without onion and garlic for mum who doesn't eat them. Nice to have the option of warm water with meal. Only stayed 1 night in Nuwara Eliya and heavy rains when we arrived so unable to explore the surrounding area on foot.

The check in was easy with a cup of tea. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed, curtains for a darkened room and quiet. The breakfast was excellent too. Finally not to forget the view of the lake…….stunning.
