The accommodation has very good location near the main road and also is nicely accessible by tuk-tuk. 🛺 You can park inside the property. We met the best people (owners and staff) here that made our stay exceptional! Recommended!

“wonderful stay at Samri Bungalow”

Samri Bungalow is very well situated. Less than 1 km from town centre in a very quiet neighborhood. We could walk to town centre in 10 minutes or less. We loved the friendly and courteous service provided by Bandara, the resident manager. We could use the kitchen to make tea and heat up food....Great advantage The fireplace was a definite plus! We had a fire going every night. Thanks to Bandara. We liked the place so much we extended our stay!

“Wonderful stay and excellent host!”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The owner and caretaker of the house, Mr. Bandara, was exceptionally attentive and always around for helpful tips or if we needed anything. He also helped us organize a tuktuk to visit the tea plantations and Ramboda falls with one of his friends who was extremely accommodating and patient. We opted for the breakfast both mornings and was definitely worth the money and tasted very good! Everything was very clean and the shower had hot water! Only a 15 mins walk to the town centre. Would definitely stay here again!

Beds were comfortable and bathroom were neat and clean. Rooms were spacious with large common areas. This bunglow is a colonial era type bunglow with great spacious rooms and attic. Hot water is available 24 hours with good pressure. Great fire place. Staffs are very polite and helpful

Since we wanted to leave early, we asked for an early breakfast at 6:30. This was possible! The lovely Sri Lanka man was very helpful, that was great! The stay was lovely.

“Perfect stay in Nuwara Eliya”

Favorite stay in Sri Lanka! Loved the room, beautiful bathroom, great big bed with duvet (not just a sheet haha). We got tea and biscuits at our arrival, which was lovely, and the owner was so kind! We did our laundry here as well for like €2. Busstop so close by, to go visit the waterfalls and bluefield tea factory for example. Also the Grand Hotel only 20-30 min by foot, we ate twice there and it was wonderful. Would have stayed here one additional night if we could, but we had to catch the train to Ella.

the property is value for money. very clean bath room comfortable and clean beds..good food..nice colonial appearance.. the family gave me very delicious dinner..and breakfast..thank you.

Situated close to town. Bathrooms are newly refurbished and of high quality. Bandara the watcher was nice to us and attended to all our needs.

We were lucky, no other customers. So we had the whole house for ourselves. The beds are really nice, the shower was good. And we could do our laundry there.
