This is one of the best property I have ever stayed in. The lake view rooms are amazing! Would love to watch sunrise or sunset from here! The host is very welcoming. It is very near to the lake and most of the places are walkable. Would definitely recommend this stay. Oh and the breakfast was amazing!

It had a nice vibe to the place with great views over Lake Gregory. A little walk into town, but not too bad. Delicious breakfast and host was very helpful.

The location was great, lovely view of the lake and walking distance to restaurants. The decor was very stylish and cosy. The breakfast was also really tasty. Host was very friendly and understanding, he gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with a private bathroom as well as lot of good tips and recommendations.

The location of the place and the rooms were very pretty, with amazing view. The best thing about the stay was the host who was following up since 3 days before our visit and made sure we reached the location with best possible options available and ensured we explored all the places by guiding us to them. Must visit for the location, the view, and if you want your Sri Lanka trip to be smooth.

The room was amazing with a fantastic view of the lake! The host was really lovely and really knowledgeable about what to do in the area. We had the Sri Lankan style breakfast which was super tasty!

We actually stayed at the Rustique Lodge, after receiving a room upgrade from our host. The host was lovely and very accomodating, we received a warm welcome, they offered us very good recommendations of where to eat and what to do in town and arranged us a Tuk-Tuk driver for the day. The Lodge is newly constructed, with a serene view over the lake and a spacious lounge and bedroom. The facilities are great - a comfortable bed, comfy couches and a modern ensuite. The space was clean and well maintained. We had the choice of a Western or Sri Lankan breakfast. We opted for the Sri Lankan breakfast and it was delicious.

““Charming House with a lake view”

The accommodation had a charming, vintage interior that perfectly matched the colonial-style building. The room was split over two floors with two double beds and offered a beautiful view of Gregory Lake. We were warmly welcomed and immediately given helpful tips on what to see and do in the area. Although we only stayed one night, we really liked it. For our onward journey, a reasonably priced tuk-tuk was also organized for us. Breakfast was delicious — you could choose between a Sri Lankan or British option; we chose the Sri Lankan one and really enjoyed it.
