This is a fabulous homestay, welcoming, friendly host Nanda 🙏 delicious dinner, loved the traditional western breakfast, ingredients from her garden. I stayed for an extra night as I could walk 2 stages of Pekoe Trail where stage 22 finished. Large comfortable bedroom with ensuite, big window with fresh air and light. Home away from home a very kind lady, I gave her my walking pole so I could return. Local little shops, next door bakery. Tuk tuk ride or bus on corner to catch to main town or back to Pekoe Trail

When you arrive you receive a warm welcome from the owners with an amazing tea. The room was clean and really comfortable, the blanket was really warm (perfect for the cold weather of that raining day). Dinner is incredible!

Everything was perfectly clean, and from the moment we arrived, we felt a wonderful, homely atmosphere. ​The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming people. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, they were so caring and even prepared a homemade chicken soup for us upon request, which was exactly what we needed. ​As for the food – we are speechless. We asked the hosts to prepare dinner for us, and it was hands down the best meal we have eaten in Sri Lanka so far! If you stay here, do not miss the chance to eat their food. ​Location: The location is very convenient, situated right next to a bus stop. Buses to the Nuwara Eliya city center run very frequently, making transport quick and easy.

Had an amazing time staying at Christopher’s homestay, he was very welcoming into his home! A perfect location for great walks and to be in nature with easy access to the centre of Nuwara Eliya. The breakfast and dinner were perfect too, wish we could have stayed here longer!

Very nice people that made us feel like home. The home cooked food was very tasty. They also helped us with arranging a tuktuk to Horton Plains and a taxi to Kandy for a very reasonable price. Thank you once again! :)

The room is nice, simple but nicely furnished, with warm water. Christopher the host is very nice, he offered us tea when we arrived, and let us borrow an umbrella to go walking in the rain. The breakfast was good with a view on the Pedro Tea factory.

If you are thinking about booking this property then close your eyes and just book it , it is so beautiful and located amidst tea gardens and the view is stunning . The owner is very friendly and welcoming . He arranged tuktuk for us to gregory lake as well as transport for nuwara eliya . We had great conversations with him . The breakfast was delicious we had homemade rubab and lemon jams , pancakes were so soft !

“Amazing Homestay”

The hosts are an elderly couple who were incredibly kind & helpful, especially during the heavy rains when they assisted us in getting settled. The lady prepared a wonderful dinner for us that evening, as most of the city was shut due to the weather. The room was clean, cozy & provided a comfortable night’s sleep. Although the room was a bit small, it accommodated all our luggage comfortably. Overall, we'd a great experience at this homestay & the couple were truly amazing hosts. Please carry LKR as they expect the payment to be made in cash.
