“A real, comfortable home away from home for an incredible price!”
We were so impressed by this beautiful guesthouse! It is truly a homestay, in that you are staying in the beautiful home of this lovely family! We were so impressed by how clean, quiet, comfortable, dark at night, well-located and fully equipped the space was! Just a fifteen minute walk from Victoria or Galway park, it was also easy to walk here to and from the bus station. The delicious warm shower, WiFi, garden, cute cat and clean drinking water were a bonus, but the highlight of this spot wee the charming hosts! Keshan and his parents were super communicative, friendly and incredibly obliging: they even kept our backpacks for a couple of days while we hiked Sri Pada! We are so grateful to have found this gem!

When I was choosing a place to stay on Booking.com, I looked at reviews from people who had stayed there. And I wasn't wrong. These were my most wonderful days on the island of Sri Lanka, as the host was very friendly and responsive. He helped me with all my questions. The room was my temporary wonderful home. Everything was so perfect that I didn't even want to leave, as if I were staying with old good friends. I will definitely return and recommend this guesthouse to everyone with all my heart. Thank you very much to the hosts for their hospitality and kindness.

The bed and sheets were comfortable and warm enough. The house is close to a good restaurant. The price was very good. There's a mosquito net. A family member has a van and offers drives.

We stayed 3 nights at Nuwara Eliya Mountain View Homestay , and it was a very comfortable experience. The aunt and uncle who run the place were extremely friendly and kind. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the heaters worked perfectly, keeping us warm throughout our stay. It would look even nicer with white-themed bed covers for a fresher touch, and I would like to give one suggestion to Wash room water heater . It’s better to upgrade the hot water heater to a more modern one because Its not much efficient hot . I really hope that by the next time I come, they’ll have upgraded the hot water heater to a more modern and efficient model. It would make a big difference, and I’m sure it would improve the overall experience for everyone. Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful place with great hospitality — highly recommended ♥️

Lovely host who was really helpful during our stay. They very kindly stored our bag for a few days while we hiked the Pekoe Trail. Breakfast was good and most places are walkable from the guesthouse. Comfortable bed.

“Cozy home”
We had a lovely stay here! The weather was really cold, but the house was so comfy and warm & it truly felt like a cozy home away from home. It’s in walking distance to Victoria Park and other attractions in Nuwara Eliya, which made exploring the town super easy. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, even giving us a ride to our next stop. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and homely stay.
