“Not recommending if you are finding a comfortable place to stay”
One glass window was broken so stay was really hard in that much lower temperature and in that same room hot water shower also not working...washrooms also not that much clean...eventhough we manage all this hassels at the end they increased the prices more than they shows in the booking.com page...not happy about the stay

Very friendly host, nicely decorated room, comfy! Just note: this is Mountain View Cottage BLACKPOOL (TukTuk fee from train station maybe 800-1000 rps) there is also a Mountain View Cottage at the other side of Nuwara Elyia - so just follow the booking location and not google maps

“Deeply disappointed and false advertisement”
We booked the holiday house for 40$ a night. The pictures on booking looked great and the reviews, too. When we arrived we found out that there is no holiday house and that they only had one room available and a “spare” room. Shower wasn’t hot at all. A deeply disappointing experience especially after a long day on motorcycles being cold and wet from a lot of rain. We left to look for a new accommodation.

The host was amazing! We wanted something from the grocery shop in the evening and just asked him where the nearest shop was. He insisted on walking us there (which was quite a trip). Overall very helpful and generous staff. We really enjoyed our night here. Bed was also comfortable.
