I had a very good stay at this place. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. Definitely worth visiting again

“Comfortable and spotlessly clean”

This was a lovely place. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were extremely accommodating. They are responsive an speak great english. There are 2 units in the house, they have a separate entrance and share a common living room. The kitchen is also just down the hall, but it is not the family kitchen (they dont cook there, but they do use the fridge I think). The kitchen are is where breakfast is served. You may also make yourself tea or coffee there. The house itself is within walking distance of several restaurants as well as the lake.

The property was a very clean and quiet great place to choose if you needed some time to relax middle of a journey. Most of the foods they offer we couldn't find anywhere in Sri Lanka and the Foods are incredibly good. Amazing views. Great owners. We will visit again.

The room was very nice and cozy, making for a comfortable stay. The family running the hotel was welcoming and kind, and the breakfast was good. Since we only stayed for one night, it’s hard to say more, but our short experience was positive!

“Simply a Fantastic Stay”

It was simply a fantastic stay, probably the best I’ve ever had so far in Sri Lanka.

We came bit late to the place. But they given us a very good welcome and a very good breakfast. The room was amazing.

Kind owners, amazing views, excellent well-prepared Srilankan breakfast, and beautiful room and bathroom. And all the place is very clean and tidy. We enjoyed every bit of our stay.

The best stay so far. Felt like home. Very friendly hosts, very clean and beautiful property breakfast was delicious and every day we got different menus . And mount Elegance is a very peaceful place so we slept well and for the price we were paid for the room, we got access to use the common living room and the kitchen where we make our coffee and tea and enjoy chatting with other guests. We appreciate everything we had. Recommended!!!
