“Cosy getaway!”

Priyantha and his family were lovely hosts - very welcoming. We loved the room - it was spacious and had a great bathroom. Felt very cosy! We would stay again. There’s a direct pathway from the Main Street of the city to the accommodation that was enjoyable and kept us fit!

Please DO NOT book this if you are coming by tuk tuk or taxi, it is not accessible. ⚠️ Still extremely dangerous on bike. This information should be on the main page but it not. Luckily we came by bike, it was a nice stay.

The location is really good. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try much food. The staff were excellent and very friendly. It was just my bad luck that there was a water cut when I visited, but they still arranged water for us.

We enjoyed our stay at Lily Bank Cottage. The location is quiet and peaceful, around 2.5km from town. The cottage has a beautiful garden and a charming vintage aesthetic with wooden furniture and warm lighting. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Bathroom was spotless and water pressure was good. The owner was kind and quickly helped us when we needed matches for the fireplace. The friendly dog was a lovely bonus !

This place is a gem! Wow, wow, wow. The room is absolutely beautiful, you can tell so much care has been taken in the decor and layout. The bed is extremely comfortable and we loved the fireplace. We can absolutely recommend the dinner, which was served to us in our room as we were exhausted from travelling. The food is delicious! The hosts are also extremely kind and helpful.

“Warm, cozy and delicious food”

We had a wonderful stay at Saveen Guesthouse in Nuwara Eliya. The room was very cozy and spotlessly clean. Mine had a fireplace that was lit in the evening and warm, cuddly blankets for the cold nights. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the large bathroom added to the comfort. The small inner courtyard is beautiful and very peaceful. Dinner was outstanding – Dilakshi’s cooking is fantastic, and her warmth and kindness make you feel immediately at home.

Lily Bank Cottage was perfect! It had a warm homely feel. The owner went over and above to make our stay memorable. We had a beautiful dinner by candlelight in our room after we arrived, highly recommend having dinner here when you stay. We also had a great cooked breakfast each morning 🌄 the rooms are big, very clean and warm 👌 the shower had hot water and the bathroom was very clean. We were able to park our tuk tuk on-site. The accommodation was also close to town. The owner has intentions of extending and building his own restaurant on site which we think will be fantastic. A must stay, highly recommend 👌
