Absolutely immaculate and beautifully maintained tea estate villa. Our room was gorgeous with a view to die for over the tea plantations. We loved the circular walk through the tea trees, enjoyed the pool and had fun playing the putting. Food was just fab! The evening meals were excellent quality and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious, including curd and honey which we love. Taking afternoon tea on the lawn on my husband’s birthday felt like a step back in time and was just idyllic. The staff can’t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay - always smiling and helpful, they are a delight.

The langdale was a peaceful haven in the rolling hills of a tea plantation. The room was beautifully presented and comfortable. The dining and breakfast areas looked out over lovely views. Breakfast was delicious and the staff always helpful. The pool was a treat too. .

The Langdale felt more like a large old house rather than a hotel. There was a relaxed atmosphere but staff were very attentive and quick to serve all meals, bar drinks etc. The rooms were spacious , beds comfortable and bathrooms clean. Ours had a separate shower room which was lovely. The food was well presented and chef always came out to talk and ask about his meals. The menu choice was good. The reception staff helped to arrange trips to town and were happy to give advice on other trips in the area. There is a walk round the tea plantation surrounding the hotel. Fab location and peaceful.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are insane, and most of all, incredible hospitality. Unfortunately I was feeling a little under the weather, and they were so kind and accommodating. What is more, I let them know beforehand that we were celebrating our honeymoon and they made so many personal touches, including rose petals on our bed, a special candlelit table, a congratulations cake. It was so thoughtful and very much appreciated! I wish we were able to stay longer. The grounds are immaculately kept as well. Dinner was also lovely. I would highly highly recommend this place. The staff were nothing short of amazing, every single one of the of them! I'm terrible with names but the head of guess services was amazing. Thank you to everyone, endlessly.

The hotel is amazing, with a beautiful location and a fantastic swimming pool. We really enjoyed the opportunity to walk through the tea fields. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, everything was freshly prepared using local ingredients. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

An amazingly beautiful traditional property set high on the hill overlooking the valley. Service was impeccable and the property in all aspects was first rate. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the hotel and also an amazing breakfast .

Absolutely beautiful location, staff were fantastic as well. Breakfast was nice and they have their own coconut jam that is simply the bestest thing I have tasted ever! Grateful for the chef giving us the recipe!!

We spent two nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya and absolutely loved it. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of endless tea fields, and the views are just stunning, it feels like a little world of its own. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. From start to finish, they made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for, nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to the reception and wait staff, as well as Chef Guiamme, who not only cooked us the most delicious meals but also took the time to share his recipes for Coconut Jam, Dhal, and Onion Sambal. We can’t wait to try them at home and share them with our friends and family. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra personal. We were kindly upgraded for our stay and the room was very comfortable and cozy, and we both slept so well and got the perfect recharge after exploring. We also loved the facilities — the heated pool was perfect after a day of adventuring, the mini golf is a nice touch and the walks around Langdale’s estate were peaceful and beautiful. We also used the laundry service which did a truly excellent job and refreshed our belongings for our onward journey. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, and we’ll look back on it fondly. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and truly outstanding service, Langdale is the place to stay.

Amazing hospitality by the staff – they went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. As a vegetarian with specific dietary restrictions, I truly appreciated how every meal was carefully prepared to suit my requirements. The word “No” simply didn’t exist in their service. A special mention to Anuj, who took excellent care of us throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Nuwara Eliya. Although it’s about a 30-minute drive from the main town, the experience and comfort make it absolutely worth it.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The staff is very attentive, helpful, and extremely friendly. You can tell they are all well trained—it really shows as a guest. The rooms are very clean, beautifully equipped, and spacious. You can swim in the lovely heated pool, play tennis, badminton, or even mini golf. The food was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. We would love to come back if we travel to Sri Lanka again. Highly recommended!
